Jitsi Tutorial === [Here's the website for Jitsi](https://jitsi.org/), giving it a quick explainer. There is no desktop application for Jitsi. It simply works in your browser, like how most of us started out using Zoom. There are mobile applications for Jitsi. They can be found [on their website](https://jitsi.org/downloads/), on the Apple store for apps, the Google Play Store, and on [F-Droid](https://f-droid.org/en/packages/org.jitsi.meet/). Jitsi can be a quick and easy way for groups without much institutional support to teleconference. The software for Jitsi can be run on any server, and there are many Jitsi instances set up by various online activists (hackers and the like) for teleconferencing. :::danger When someone joins the call late, due to the peer-to-peer real time connection software, the call can be disrupted somewhat as everyone's devices accomodates the change in information that's being shared (audio and video). :::
