This document outlines the criteria that is needed to be met in order to attend events, as well as the expectations of the staff. This applies to both full-time employees and contractors. # Summary Hashcloak recognizes the numerous events relating to Crypto that occur throughout the year. These events can be a wealth of information and can benefit not just individuals, but our team as a whole. As such, Hashcloak encourages its employees to take a look at what is happening in the Crypto market and has defined a policy surrounding attending events of this kind. # Criteria The following outlines the criteria needed to be met for employees/contractors to attend events: * Must have been employed for at least 90 consecutive days (3 consecutive months) * Must be in good standing (No active written warnings) * Must not exceed attending 4 events/year (1 event per Quarter) - Unless otherwise approved by the CEO (@mikerah@hashcloak.com) * Quarters are observed as the following: Q1: January-March, Q2: April-June, Q3: July-September, Q4: October-December) * Cannot sign up for or attend consecutive events (events that occur one after the other) - Unless otherwise approved by the CEO (@mikerah@hashcloak.com) # Signing Up For An Event If you are interested in taking part in an event such as a conference or seminar, please refer to the list of upcoming events located at the bottom of the page. * Employees/Contractors are not solely limited to the events listed on this page * Employees/Contractors must list their name down by the event they are interested in attending, in order to track how much staff may be allocated to a particular event. * If there is interest from multiple members of the team to attend a particular event but business needs prevent all from attending, consideration will be given to those who signed up first (first-come, first-serve basis) * If you come across an event that is not listed below, but you are interested in attending, please reach out to the CEO (@mikerah@hashcloak.com) for approval * In order to put in a request to an event, an employee/contractor must message/email the CEO (@mikerah@hashcloak.com) and Operations Manager (@pankaj@hashcloak.com) formally stating their request to attend a particular event and provide at least three (3) weeks notice * Event Proposal template can be found here: https://hackmd.io/XSCyYf3jTZm1DUZ9NHdqEQ?view * Workers can use the following template when formally requesting to attend an event to their manager: * Hi (*insert manager’s name here*), I would like to attend (*insert name of the event here*) which is located in (*insert location of the event here*).
