風水害等の危険から身を守るには、事前の準備や安全行動が不可欠ですが、それに加えて我が家の周辺がどんな状況なのか知っておく必要があります。現在PDFのみで存在するハザードマップをデジタル化し、様々な属性の方が日頃から災害に備えることができるサービス

課題の背景

２０１９年の台風１９号はまだ記憶に新しいことかと思います。私も「荒川が決壊するかもしれないという不安」「友人の家が避難指定エリアに入った」「多摩川が氾濫し友人のマンションが浸水した(*1)」という体験を今も覚えています。恥ずかしい話ではありますが、当時は荒川が決壊するとどうなるのかを台風が近づきつつある中で初めて調べるような状態でした。区から送られてきた災害時パンフレットを引っ張り出したり、Youtube で荒川が氾濫した時のフィクションドキュメンタリー(*2)を見始めて、これから起こるかもしれない事実に恐怖を覚えました。

(*2) フィクションですがショッキングな内容なのでご注意ください。

当時いろいろと調べていくと、どうやら自分が住んでいる家は避難しなくても命の危険は無いエリアとされていることを知りました。しかし、荒川が氾濫してしまうと交通・水道・電力インフラが広域に渡って被害を受けてしまい、普段の生活は送れないことになるのだとわかりました。その時に備蓄が全く足りない事実に気が付きました。家に備蓄も無いし、避難するほどの場所ではないらしい、そもそもいざとなったら備蓄食料や水を貰える場所ってどこなんだろう…？？わからないことだらけで、せめて、風呂に水を貯めるくらいはしようと水を張ったのを今でも思い出します。

操作方法と凡例（PC推奨）
　青いピンは現在地です。現在地周辺の情報を表示します。
　周辺情報を更新するには、地図を移動して地図上でクリックして下さい。
　円をクリックすると詳細情報を見ることが出来ます。
　緑の円は共助の考えの下、市民が登録した災害時に分け合える備蓄品の情報です。
　オレンジの円は、災害時に避難場所・備蓄配給所になる学校の場所（オープンデータ）。
　赤い円は、八王子市が提供しているハザードマップ情報です。
