Hello,
This response was not signed. Who wrote it? The employee I filed a complaint against?
Regardless, thank you for your reply.
I cannot believe you are
Defending the rude behavior of your employee. She should never work in a customer facing role by any decent standard.
Misapplying the tax law. If I had the items shipped in separate orders, combined under $100, no tax would have been due. Therefore, your application of the tax law is plainly wrong, as my lawyer confirms. THIS is what I do not agree with.
Since you force me to pay unlawful charges, (yes, I will pay initially under protest), I will file a complaint with the government against MBE for willfully, or in ignorance, misapplying the law. Don't you know that the law only applies to items over $100.00? My attorney confirmed that. Why do you ignore this important aspect of the tax law?
I am also concerned about the clearly damaged package that is still at MBE. Why does it show as picked up? Furthermore, the clearly damaged package contains a glass item $12,97 (an item you insist on collecting taxes on). If you cared for the customer, you would have looked at the invoice I attached in the previous mail, you would have noticed that.
Are you going to charge me tax on the book to be delivered, valued at $213 also, even though books are tax-exempt? No. de Rastreo: 396360499439
I have paid hundreds of dollars for your services over the last 2.5 years, and no one deserves a treatment as I have experienced today!
Your employee, even your response, is more than upsetting.
Lastly, was your reply authored by the actual employee in dispute? Please escalate management. We clearly disagree on the tax application, which my Panama lawyer confirms you are wrongfully charging. Please check with the tax authorities and review this issue. I insist on proper escalation. I treat those with respect who treat me with respect. It's very simple.
Thank you.
In deep disappointment,
Regards
Lars
