# NFTbooru - NFTs are a scam and you know it.

*Disclaimer: All information, NFTs, and data is publicly avaliable on the Etherium blockchain. We simply have made the data easier to view, and laugh at. We take no responsibility for "Hosting" images, data, or NFTs, as none of it is done on our end.*
# What happened?
The NFT Bay was a farce, a ruse, a fraud. The first 10GB of data is real, however, the remaining ~18TB is empty data. After the first 10GB, all other enteries are listed as `#57b587e1bf2d09335bdac6db18902d43dfe76449`, which is the SHA1 hash of 32MB of zeroes. Therefore, ~18TB of the torrent itself is zeroes.

We present a real copy of The NFT Bay. No fake data, just pure documentation to fulfill your right clicking needs, in an easy Booru format! This is in no way endorsing NFTs, quite the opposite actually. This is a showcase that an NFT is nothing more then a public image with a line of text associated with it.
All of the NFTs on Ethereum and Solana are powered by Internet black magics.
(Not really, it's quite simple technology)
Unlike the original NFT Bay creator, we explain our entire technical process, we encourage people take our initiative and build stuff like this, instead of blindly believing everything they see on the internet. Build your own tools, instead of relying on someone elses that might not be what it seems. Unlike the original NFT Bay, we're not pretending. We're here to show you that NFTs are just as worthless as the blockchain they sit in.
## Stack - Ethereum
Powered by an Ethereum archival node running [Erigon](https://github.com/ledgerwatch/erigon) we are able to take a full copy of the Ethereum blockchain to find all [EIP-721](https://eips.ethereum.org/EIPS/eip-721) smart contracts.
The URL for each NFT token in the blockchain is merely a concatenation of the `baseURI` and the `tokenId` propreties in the contract's metadata.
The URL is most of the times either hosted on the public World Wide Web, on [IPFS](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/IPFS), or on [Arweave](https://www.arweave.org).
In the case of Ethereum, we can achieve this by iterating over every NFT contract on the archival node, we can identify a EIP-721 contract easily.
We make a best effort to avoid using the OpenSea API and other similar remote APIs to get the most amount of NFTs in the quickest amount of time. Remote APIs pose the limit of getting us rate limited to hell.
## Parsing
To parse data with an unpredictable amount of deviance between many developers, we've split the process out for the many types of tokens that exist within Ethereum.

## Sourcing Data - OpenSea
OpenSea is one of the most popular NFT marketplaces for Ethereum. At the time of writing, it is the top Google result for "nft exchange". This exchanges comprises a good majorty of the NFT trading volume, both new and old.
Kickstarting tokens from OpenSea is just as easy as clicking the right click button on a mouse.
## Future Chains to Right Click
Holy fuck why are there so many blockchains.
### Solana
Not yet. Large difference between Ethereum and insane (worst case 4+ **PB**) disk requirements.

### Binance Smart Chain
It will hurt a lot. 21+ TB of SSD space required.

# Roadmap
As of 11-29-2021, our roadmap is as follows:
1. Download and successfully integrate the Foundation NFTs and metadata into our system. This serves to show a proof of concept that it's possible to achieve.
2. Build our nftbooru website and GUI to display tags, and NFTs, along with their viewable raw metadata.
3. Move onto bigger NFT websites and blockchains, such as Opensea. This takes a large amount of storage, and computing power, which wont be easy.
4. Fully integrate as many blockchains as possible.
5. Profit.
