# Voice of Gaia

*How do we give Gaia a voice?* And* how do we give that voice power in the world without that power corrupting ~~her~~? In this proposal we link the tranformatory potential of theatre, the global reach of radio and podcasting, and the power of law encoded into software to create a new form of activism.

~~This activism embodies the ability to take action, but places the control in the hands of "law givers" who speak for nature. 100% Gaia will be created for the people and by the people, but on behalf of and responsible for the stewarding of nature.~~

The Voice of Gaia propses to connect connect performers and spect-actors of diverse age and culture groups worldwide to The Berlin Change days to gloval COP26 events. It is modelling a truly participatory vision of democracy where all voices are heard and considered (Augusto Boal), Inviting human beings to give voice to other than human voices as a transformative healing community led ritual (Joanna Macy), and tapping into the natural wisdom and creativity, available to everyone, everywhere (Arawana Hayashi).

By presenting the intelligence of the heart we will stage empathy in action. A 100% global ecosystem might have the the dormant potential, to bridge into our a desired resilient and thriving future for Gaia - if, and only if, we listen to the wisdom of the voiceless!

~ we stage an global, interactive, distribute theater performance - manifest through system thinking and the art of system sensing. It is intuitive knowing - to speak on behalf of the ocean and a school of fish - is an empathizing voice of humans addressing the rights of nature. This is the intuitive wisdom of the heart of every human being on the planet, beyond any discriminating factors of belittling and harmful stigmas. When our nature speaks, in all its different forms and colors, - then we rise with global citizenship from the grassroots, like the seeds in fertile soil stretching for the sun.

How do we give Gaia a voice in a truly participatory vision of democracy, where all voices are heard and considered? How can we link the tranformatory potential of the heart intelligence as expressed thorugh creativty, art and theatre. How can we leverage the global reach of radio and podcasting, and the power of law encoded in software to create a new form of globally response-able activism?

The Voice of Gaia will connect performers and spect-actors of diverse age and culture groups worldwide to The Berlin Change days to global COP26 events, to explore the above questions.

## Gaia: the archetecture of change
What is the concreteness of what we will do? We are missing the politics of change.

Maybe use of the word "assemblies" "assemblages". Of Archetecture. We need to visualise this archetecture of change.

# SOIL: gardens of Gaia (revolution in the kitchen)
In the workshop we connect "gardens" where assemblies sppeak for aspects of Gaia. We share food, we assemble a new parliament, and archetectural charette of voices from around the world. We plant a seed.

Multinational trade - agriculture...
Conflicts that happen in a kitchen... poisoned food? We imagine two meals?

Supply chain mesh, web, illustrated by childrens stories of the meals served in the different gardens.

> Why a Braai? A traditional Braai is much like a barbeque – the food is cooked in a similar way although some use wood as fuel while others use charcoal & briquettes. The food that is cooked on a braai, along with the social aspect of the event are the major differences between a BBQ and a Braai.

> Maybe SOIL of the world - planet - Mother Earth - Gaia. Art , sounds of soil . How we can change the architecture of the Soil to where it belonged . Soil - a metaphoric that is fabricated now

How about the archetectrual "charette" in which instead of constructing a classic "building" (archetecture of change) - we use SOIL and create a garden with oceans and rivers and air... like a garden - but somethign surreal? / real?

The Voice of Gaia connects performers and spect-actors of diverse ages and culture groups to gather worldwide in response to the Berlin Change days and global COP26 call for action to explore the following questions:

How can we combine the global reach of radio and podcasting and law encoded on the blockchain to cultivate globally response-able activism?

How can we enact a genuinely participatory vision of democracy, where all voices are heard and considered, rivers, mountains, and trees?

How can reconnecting to the ancestral embodied place-based knowing initiate change in organisations and society on a local and a global scale?

The performance is a shared meal, a recipe for the future, where humans and nature live in harmony and abundance. It does so through amplifying the voice of children and youth worldwide who share stories of their traditional lands and foods. Together they shape a mixed media project which "sets the stage" for global performance and a ritual of collectively dreaming and "cooking" the future into being.
