Meeting Notes:
The first Bittopia Foundation session brought together the foundation, advisers, and Parable to meet and share ideas.
We discussed individual backgrounds, fields of knowledge and roles. The following are some of the topics and points that were addressed:
- The use of Trello for task management, assigning tasks and setting goals.
- Aragon to be used as the foundation management tool, as well as for decision making.
- The principles of open-source and collaborative environments. The need for freedom of expression, and a flat hierarchy model. All ideas are welcome.
- The plans for the BVI/Singapore entities, the token issuance, as well as the Seed and Public sale.
- Dusan went over our forecasting and budgeting, that while is a great foundation, there is a need to further refine it. Evan due to his experience in forecasting agreed and would like to contribute to this task.
- Juan mentioned that we need to consider our pricing strategy, as for example, in Argentina $100 for a basic course would be higher than most would be able to afford.
- Ken expanded on this and pointed out the need to focus on helping regions such as Africa, and that we should put in place a framework to be able to bring education to these regions.
- Matt went over the sales funnel strategies and marketing plans that we can implement.
- We assigned roles and responsibilities and will move forward with bringing these into Trello to move further on.
Attendees (9):
Amin, Matt, Jana, Juan, Dusan, Ken, Peter, Tristan, Evan.
