Preparing an Agenda
Preparing an agenda is helpful for attendees to understand what will be discussed and to review documents before the call itself.
A detailed agenda can increase the meeting productivity.
Attn: Hosts of the call will be responsible for creating the agenda and making the relevant posts.
Meeting Agenda Checklist
Monthly
- Verify ENS Master calendar updated.
- Anticipate steward travel and identify changes to call hosts early.
- Verify Discourse events updated.
2-3 Days Before Meeting
- Post meeting agenda on Discourse in the relevant Working group category.
- Verify call resources are up to date.
24hrs Before Call
- Update attendees if there are any last minute changes/
During Call
- Verify DAO secretary is present to take notes. If not, identify scribe.
- Announce call recording if possible.
- At conclusion of call, make note of time and reiterate any action items.
Expecation of Meeting Minutes
- Minutes will provide a summary of the call. The minutes do not cover all the points of discussion, rather summarise and provide the resultant decision.
- Unless an attendee desires a statement to be recorded, any remarks of comments in the minutes will be general and/or paraphrased at the discretion of the scribe.
- Minutes will be posted as a reply on the forum in the same post that announced the agenda.
- Minutes can be expected to be posted a reasonable time after the call ends.
