And vs other "group" definitions happening in the holochain ecosystem. * Michael's DSL / rep_lang, can that be used when in hREA we want to calculate what is given in exchange for something received (including community receipt, like reducing carbon emissions)? --> ### Wrap-up (allow 7-10min) - Quick review of [tasks in progress](https://board.disroot.org/project/pospi-economikit-org-management/kanban) - Insights and reflections (led by a syntheser/listener person) - What did you notice in the call? - Any recommendations for process improvement? - Next steps (mostly written in, but voiced at end briefly) - ***(Who will host our next call?)*** ## Minutes - Shared where we were at personally and how we were feeling about Economikit and Neighbourhoods and their relationship together. Notice difference in pacing and relationality. - A few of the thoughts noted: - people value the relational space EK holds - the software could be "super packaged" - goal to have software that plugs together - EK could coordinate the touch points in the software, which itself is managed by the projects - consulting: tech vs philosophical vs all aspects - Proposal going forward for meetings - Monthly Alignment call focused on where various projects are at and how people are feeling as we align around shared visions. Very light on admin/documentation. Focus on connection and sharing. - Opening for other spontaneous calls with whomever is available - Probably best in an accessible room allowing any of us to show up in whatever combination. Jean proposed jit.si, and Bob and Lynn have other possible options also. Sid continues to offer his room. This needs to be aligned on. ## Next steps - Align on what medium to use for monthly meeting and the spontaneous meetings and coworking etc. - Calender admin for monthly meeting. Update calendar content and select which meeting makes the "month" routine. - Refine the checkin question to assist with what to invite people to share together. - Perhaps continue to explore - Roles of EK vs projects (NH/SC, hREA), or what does/should the venn diagram look like these days? - Governance, culture - Software responsibilities, touchpoints - Outreach

Attendees Lynn, Bob, pospi, Sid, Michael, Pablo Agenda / Minutes A small group of us made some space to connect with each other a bit more deeply, get a sense of where we're all at, and particularly to make space for reflections on the organisational changes EK/NH has been through and how we are all feeling / adapting / coping with those changes. A general awareness of siloed work and pressured timelines was present in regards to the Neighbourhoods monetary instrument and crowdraise, though with mixed feelings as to whether this presents a problem.

Lynn Foster and Bob Haugen

Lynn Foster and Bob Haugen live on the web at mikorizal.org, and live for real in rural Wisconsin US, where we can live cheap and do what retired people everywhere should be able to do – what we want! What we want is to use the knowledge we have (like 4+ decades each of economic software development experience) to help groups bravely organizing fair and sustainable economic experiments on the ground. And hopefully to help these groups network into whole new economies and new relationships. Bob blogs about economic networks here. We got interested in Holochain because we saw the limitations of heavyweight blockchains, and noticed that Holo was doing REA without knowing it. We have worked with REA more than 20 years, so we are helping them do it on purpose via hREA and Valueflows.
