  • Ensure that www.django-cms.org provides a top-notch user experience.
  • Administration & maintenance, improvements & enhancements

Roadmap Relaunch django-cms.org

The general CMS dev process:

  • product positioning
    • we can do it on our own
    • Research best practices
    • we can try to do a quick survey as a low hanging
      • as a CTOs did you manage to convince the CEO to choose django cms?
      • …
    • landing pages, main menu, sitemap, CTAs
  • UX + wireframes
    • done by a designer and a product owner
    • we can try to do it partially on our own and then ask for example Elliot for a expert opinion and feedback
  • the design, based on the wireframes
    • we can try to do that with contributor's help, eg ask them to do one page
    • or involve Elliot
  • the CMS plugins architecture
    • it usually takes 1-4 hours, but has a huge impact on usability, and can be done by senior django cms developer, eg Victor or Sergey G
  • the implementation 80-200h

the less the better -> the more committed the better -> 2 - 4 developers
