This is a plan to drive DAO activity on Celo, based on the feedback we received from the Celo team last week.
We noted a lack of v2 DAOhaus DAOs formed on the Celo chain. Because transaction fees on Celo are comparable (often lower) than those on Gnosis chain, this could mean:
Point one would likely be due to:
The DAOhaus v3 SDK as a general purpose coordination tool is very powerful, and that means it also has a learning curve.
We hope to enable the Celo community by teaching developers and community leaders to use the tools effectively.
We would like to provide a short menu of options that will bring the DAOhaus V3 protocol to Celo and help the community begin improving their coordination efforts immediately.
Many of the solutions listed here are modular and augment each other. Each are valuable in their own right, but complimentary when used together.
We also understand every community has different needs, so while we consider this menu a great starting point, we would also like to receive your feedback and iterate on solutions over time.
Deploying DAOhaus V3 to Celo is essential for community adoption on the Celo chain.
A rough technical breakdown of the tasks can be found here:

This is a full-time 10 session program that takes in prospective community builders. This is for the people who may not know a lot about DAOs but know a lot about their own community
Beyond simply teaching people how to use the product, we want to help people solve problems within the web3 ecosystem.

Empowering community leaders is a great first step, but if we want to create tools that scale to all members of the community, then we need to empower developers to build solutions that are tailor fit to the people who use them.

It helps to have a few DAOs built in advance in order to kickstart a much larger movement through network effects. We'd love to spend time interacting with the community to see how we can help.

There is a clear alignment between Celo's and DAOhaus' missions.
Celo's mission is to build a financial system that creates the conditions for prosperity for everyone. Celo accomplishes this by bringing connectivity and financial access to all corners.
DAOhaus envisions a future where any community can achieve its goals while reinforcing the sovereignty of its members. Our product caters to communities who form around a particular real-world problem or need.
Let's work together to enable more thriving, empowered communities.
New DAOs tend to choose chains that are able to leverage both inexpensive transaction costs and a network of other DAOs to interact with.
Transaction costs are comparable between Celo and Gnosis Chain.
A Network of DAOs were created on Gnosis Chain by:
The result was a blossoming of activity. Our subgraphs on Gnosis Chain have around ~700k queries per day. These queries originate both directly from within the DAOhaus V2 app, but also through external applications that serve DAOhaus data (e.g. Nestr.io, showkarma.xyz, DAObooks) Sources: [1] [2] [3]
We believe that with a focused approach, we could help kickstart An even larger movement on Celo with DAOhaus v3 given the nature of the Celo global community and the advantages of DAOhaus v3 over v2.
