Breakout Room 1:

Most people have experience in "bad" project management.

When you hear "Machine Learning" - run back to the Gov. docs to see if it was pre-registered.

Examples of good project management included good documentation,

Having the capacity to change the way you interact with different partners/collaborators, i.e. code switching.

Breakout Room 2:

  • Most people have worked in 1-4 people groups
  • Breaking down the project into smaller, achievable problems/goals helps with achieving the overall goal.
  • As a leader: being able to delegate is a difficult skill worth learning.
  • In laboratories/office spaces, project management needs to also account for equality.
  • (2-way!)Communication is key.
