Mozilla是間盈利公司，雖然現在不賺錢但是它是要賺錢的。

不向股東負責，只對 mozilla foundation 負責
台灣的分公司向總公司負責，美國的總公司向Mozilla基金會負責，基金會向使用者負責。

mozilla 臺灣社群維護的場地，支持開放社群舉辦活動
在台大迴廊咖啡的 Firefox 1.0 party。
在社群做的第一件事情就是幫忙管社群新聞的討論區。
到 2.0 的時候，做的事情也就是幫忙管討論區以及做了 Firefox 2.0 海報。
在 firefox 3.0 的時代就在各校演講，除了介紹 firefox 以外，也講開源。
當初 IE8 做了一個網頁宣傳他們的功能，當時 firefox 在首頁放上了一個差不多的頁面，然後補了一句這些 firefox 都有
台灣分公司成立，當時有不少行為與想像不同，因此累積了不少與國外吵架的經驗。向美國那邊反應說公司的一些行為我們覺得並不符合Mozilla的精神。
