# Map Types Yeah, that's right, we're introducing maps that aren't just stations with ground outside. Incredible, I know. Every map will have a set 'type'. This will affect things like the mining shuttle, as well as station goals, available jobs, and the techweb in some cases. There wil be 3 types: ## Ship Type The ship type maps will be mobile and capable of transporting between systems. They will be equipped with weaponry to fight encountered ships, as well as equipment to repair damage, fighter jets, and shields to block attacks. Most of this stuff will be ~~stolen~~ ported from NSV. ### Unique Jobs: * Munitions Technician * Master at Arms * Fighter Pilot * Flight Leader * Air Traffic Controller * Bridge Staff ### Unique Research: * Weapons / parts for Munitions * Armour pumps * Shield Generators * FTL drives * Fighter parts / ammo ### Unique Station Goals: * Bluespace Artillery ## Planetary Planetary maps will be similiar to Icebox. They will be seperated into rooms and departments by the outdoors, requiring players to go outside for movement between departments. At the 30 minute mark, fauna will begin to spawn and attempt to attack the base. The crew will be expected to utilise things such as turrets and traps to defend the base. In addition, miners will have access to large mining rigs and machines which can be used to gather lots of resources. Also maybe just allow players to automate literally everything because fuck you the new jobs here will all be in the manufacture department, also i'm moving roboticists because fuck you ### Unique Jobs: * Defense Engineer * Mining Engineer * Manufacture Engineer * Lead Automater ### Unique Research: * Kinds of walls * New types of turrets * All that fucking automation equipment god please help * BOTS, yeah that's right we're expanding robotics ### Unique Station Goals: * Probably just some bigass mining rig or gun or something ## Station type im too tired for this shit rn
