# RG Cohort Season 4 ETHDenver
## Hack Team Ideation

Here's some ideas that have been tossed out, just trying to organize them and see if any teams want to form up around them. Some ideas are quite large but we may be able to parse out some key components to work on.

2. **IRL to DAO Staking** - How to removethe trust factor for a DAO to make irl purchases in fiat if crypto is bot accepted as payment

3. **DAO Knowledge Treasury** - people can contribute articles or past projects or any internal dao work that is only accessible from people within the dao to and it would act similarly to a normal treasury where it would build up over time but memebers who contribute would still have the ability to ‘rage quit’ and pull their documents out, so it’s just building more value that each contributor can bring to each DAO they choose to join

4. **Reputation/Skill System** - reputation weight-based voting and better resources allocation. For example voting in a ‘’marketing” proposal would carry more weight if you have marketing skills/reputation.

5. **token locking to allow for quadratic voting** - Let's suppose I have 1000 Tokens on DAO X. The blockchain is now on block number 123456 and I decide to lock 800 tokens for 500 blocks. There is now a proposal submitted and the blockchain is on block number 123556 (100 blocks after I locked the tokens). My voting power on this proposal would be something like sqrt((500 - (123556 - 123456)) * 800). This basically means my voting power depends on the commitment I have on the project.

6. **DAO tooling for asynchronous onboarding** - aka everything that happens after the onboarding call... anybody else feels the pain of a lot of energy that's dissolving because actions aren't clear and discord is way too synch?
* Note from Govinda: This is a much needed and a project the Guild is already keen on funding. Some development has already been done on this [here](https://raidguild.notion.site/Async-RG-Onboarding-5a5344e9edf445a8bcc9b1a0382d3546), leaning towards a discord bot personality aka 'Tavern Keeper'. A large amount of the onboarding process has been documented already (we didn't release it yet!) so this can be input into such a solution.

7. **Conviction Voting tied to superfluid stream** - So basically the amount of conviction on that proposal would generate the flow rate to the superfluid contract and be dispersed accordingly.

8. **Novel NFTs** A platform that somehow gamifies or monetizes the experience of reading an online story. Built on Algorand, Polygon, or Harmony. **virtual**.

9. **Pirate Seas No-loss Lottery Game** - Join captains and sailors in a seaborne fight for honor! Each ship is an NFT and each crew is a DAO. When crews vote, by staking, to declare war on each other, they meet in one of the seven seas to see who's boss. Battle outcomes are determined by captain, crew, and ship specs...as well as how many powerups each crew dedicates to the battle. For example, anyone in the crew can stake more tokens to add cannons and shields. And new sailors, meaning new recruits into the game ecosystem, add much strength with "beginner's luck" haha...Ultimately, each battle lasts for a 24 hour preparation time where both ships sail to meet each other and bulk themselves up - then a 24 hour period of fighting. Over these 48 hours, staked assets earn yield, which gets entirely paid to the winning ship. 7% of each battle booty gets dropped to the particular sea that the battle happens in, since there are 7 seas and 7% is a fair cut for the environment.

10. **Tattoo + Model NFT Market (Both SFW and NSFW)** - Tattooers already draw stencils and mockups on pictures of models and celebrities (e.g. https://un1ty.tattoo/ and http://serpent-song.com/). Recently IreneDAO (https://opensea.io/collection/irenedao) has been making waves and Amouranth (https://www.twitch.tv/amouranth) has been famously successful as an online content creator - paving the way for many others to become as successful. If we get famous tattooers to create unique designs on 3D images of famous models (e.g. Look Agency) and/or alternative models (e.g. SuicideGirls), these NFTs will draw both artistic acclaim and hype among fans.
