## Past Milestones of MetaFactory
In preparing these articles we are publishing on our Mirror, interviews with some (but not all) of the core MetaFactory team were conducted. This article will introduce some of those members and feature the thoughts they shared on what our most significant achievements have been to date.
### CryptoAccord aka "DAOFREN"

DAOFREN (CryptoAccord), characterized by one of our founders as “the soul and torch bearer of MetaFactory,” discussed hitting $1mil in USD sales revenue. Namely, that it was not even noticed or celebrated. Rather, the team was so focused in its work that they had not even acknowledged the achievement. “We didn’t even have a pizza party,” DAOFREN joked. “Two other metamoments I’d give to seeing MetaKovan shrug off the $69 milli Beeple purchase, yet light up with excitement when showing off his MetaFactory Genesis Bomber and Gridlock Light Sweatshirt. Dude reps it like a mascot.”
### NiftyFifty

NiftyFifty is one of our lead technicians and designers. His energy and enthusiasm is infectious and he is on the front lines of onboarding new Robot's (community members) who want to contribute to our efforts. He references the overwhelmingly positive reception and success of "The Bomber Hoodie" and the Sushi Merch drop as examples of projects that netted buyers of this merch far more money in customer reward incentives than they had spent on the merchandise -- in some cases, to the tune of $70k in $ROBOT rebates for spending a few hundred dollars.
### Drew Harding

Drew Harding is one of our founders the the de facto leader of MetaFactory. For him, it was not a specific event that stood out as a significant milestone, but rather the proliferation of our philosophy.
He discussed the importance in the breakout and understanding other crypto groups saw in what MetaFactory was doing. The recognition of innovation and value in MetaFactory's work and the acknowledgement of the massive potential it has to expand its supply chain process and philosophy into other industries of the legacy world served as both positive reinforcement and additional motivation that we could indeed use this new technology to fix many of the profound problems facing the legacy world boomers have built.
### Jin

Jin is a true metaverse warrior whose presence and work expands into nearly every corner and facet of the web3 metaverse. From Cryptovoxels, to Decentraland, to a great number of NFT projects, to the MetaMakers and the Webaverse -- Jin has helped each project develop new tech to help us improve upon the centralized paradigm of web2 (the one that ZuccBook is desperately trying to preserve).
He is one of the critical team members leading MetaFactory's efforts to standardize NFT wearables and interoperability. He references the success of MetaFactory at MCON in Denver. "By day two or three almost everyone was rocking MetaFactory swag." It represented to him that MetaFactory was truly emerging as the first "culture DAO."
### MetaDreamer

MetaDreamer is one of the primary visionaries of our team. He is a crypto OG with a deep understanding of how the industry started, where it is going, and its potential to reshape the world. In interviewing him it was readily evident that the way in which he thinks about where we are going is deep and profound on such a level that even seasoned crypto veterans do not tap into.
He references the launch of $ROBOT and the overwhelming success it enjoyed in providing customers and communities incentive, as well as the power it had to value align all stages of the web3 supply chain MetaFactory is building.
In addition, MetaDreamer noted the onboarding of WeSeeClearly to the MetaFactory team, who came to us from the legacy fashion world. "Wes has really helped level up our production capacity and instill a lot of ideas on establing physical MetaFactory microfactories while introducing us to cutting and bleeding edge technologies on the fashion side of things."
### WeSeeClearly aka "Wes"

Wes was not crypto native when he joined MetaFactory. As noted, he came from the legacy fashion world and brought with him tremendous energy and motivation for creating a solution to the unsustainable and unethical practices that are common in the industry. Problems he regularly encountered every day as he had a front row seat to them.
The most significant milestone for Wes was the overall determination of the team to build a new system of supply chain that sheds the problems of legacy fashion. As discussed in our last Mirror post, these are the problems of waste and violations of human rights that the Western World conveniently ignores.
His values and his philosophy have been intertwined into the DNA of MetaFactory. They drive a lot of our innovations and operations forward and are forever mindful of doing better than what legacy fashion gives us.
### Sergio | FLOC

Sergio is one of the lead designers at FLOC, a decentralized design studio with goals to become a DAO in 2022. In 2020, FLOC's work caught MetaFactory's attention and a mutually beneficial work relationship was formed.
Sergio sees one of the most significant past milestones as "the beginning of Brand3: building brands with the participation of the community." They have done this hand in hand with MetaFactory, re-thinking everything from re-branding, to strategy, to identity. Specifically keeping in mind how much more value the makeup of a community has for its members when they have the chance to build that brand together, rather than a brand already built by a coporate entity and handed to them as is.
## What's Next?
In our next article, we will dive into the vision we have for MetaFactory's future. Specifically, we will discuss the establishment of MF Microfactories and our excitement to be establishing these physical locations! Following this we will cover:
- Innovating 3D Wearable Interoperability Standards
- Expansion and Adoption of our Model, Method, and Philosophy
- $ROBOT Token Overview, Evolution, Utility, and Future Tokenomics
