## Calculate the parameter
- Hot temperature Range (USER INPUT)
- Cold temperature Range (USER INPUT)
- Starting Warm Temperature (USER INPUT)
- Filling Water Temperature (USER INPUT)
- A statistical parameter that needs to be defined is the $R^2$ parameter o statistics. It is a measure of the fact how well the regression model fits the actual data. A value of $R^2$ = 1 means that the model fits the data points perfectly.
- **Conductivity value of hot tank**
- if(heating) -> do linear regression on the hot tank temperature.
- Whenever the heating flag is true, copy the hot tank temperatures and fit a linear line to it.
- 
- The above image is generated using Excel and it shows the line equation for the curve of heating in the hot tank. The slope of the curve is the value of the hot tank conductivity during heating.
- 
- The above image is for determining the equation of the curve when the hot tank is losing the heat and hence a loss in temperature. The slope of the curve is the value of the hot tank conductivity.
- The value of heating should be 0 and no one should use the water during the period under consideration.

- **Conductivity value of the cold tank**
- similar to the hot tank
- if(cooling)-> fit a linear curve to the cold tank temperature.

- The above image generated using the excel shows the cooling process taking place in the cold tank. The slope of the curve is the cold tank conductivity value during the cooling process.

- The image shows the cold tank during the time when there is a heat gain from the surroundings and hence a gain in the tempearature of the cold tank.
- **Conductivity of the warm tank**
- take the range of values where no one is using the warm water and again fit a linear line to the curve.
- 

- for the heat absorbed during the refilling process leading to a temperature drop in the warm tank:
- if(refilling)-> take the warm tank temperature drop in that range and it the curve.
- 
- **Refilling Rate of the dispenser**
- in the raw data select the range in which the HighWater, MeanWater and LowWater flag change from 0,1,1 to 1,1,1. At this time the value of the refilling flag should also be 1. This change is a volume of 7L.
- From the upload time we can determine the time taken to fill 7 litres of water.
- Thus (7/timetaken) will give the value of the refilling rate of the tank.
- 
- The above is an example showing the change of a volume of 7L occuring in about 4 minutes. Hence, refilling rate for the dispenser is at 1.75L/mins.

- **Water outlet rate**
- Fixed as follows:
- Hot tank: 0.028L/s
- Warm tank: 0.029L/s
- Cold tank: 0.023L/s
- This parameter combined with the amount of used for getting the time for which the buttons were pressed and hence the time of the refilling.
