# Grant Proposal
#### Project: Technical Paper Writer/Editor and Developer Position
## Project Overview
### Overview
The PSE team aims to not only standardize and disseminate research in a more impactful way but also to improve community engagement and project tracking. This role will serve as a multi-faceted solution to these needs, committing 10-15 hours per week for a 3-month period.
### Short Rationale
- The PSE team has funded numerous valuable research projects and PoCs. However, the lack of a standardized format and centralized platform for these outputs limits their impact.
- Inspired by the models of NASA and Arxiv, the PSE team aims to publish research findings and PoC projects in a standardized format. This will allow for greater dissemination and utility of the work funded by the team.
- There are also "small ideas" and tasks that need attention but are often overlooked due to time constraints.
- This role aims to bridge these gaps while also providing valuable metrics and community engagement tools.
### Grant Structure
- The role will involve multiple responsibilities, including technical writing, website development, and API/dashboard creation.
- The key to success is the grantee, who will handle these diverse tasks. This role requires someone with good communication skills, a basic understanding of cryptography and blockchain, and a passion for learning.

## KPIs and Evaluation Criteria
The primary KPIs will focus on both output and impact. For output, we'll track the number of papers published and the user engagement on the "Good First Issues" website. For impact, we'll monitor the utility of the API and dashboard by assessing active usage and user feedback.
Additionally, we'll keep an eye on community contributions to PSE repositories and the speed at which research moves from completion to publication. These metrics will serve as a comprehensive yet streamlined way to evaluate the success of the grant.
