# my gender. if you're here it's because you've read i'm *nonbinary transmasc* and you want to know more. it is very much more complicated than it seems at first, so if you're here, i'll explain it as a list of facts: - i am nonbinary and agender, i completely reject the gender binary. - i am trans. dysphoria and transitioning does not make you trans (being non-cis does) but i have experienced dysphoria and i wish to medically transition. - i present masculinely, and so i use the term masc for myself, but not "man". - i am amab, and although i present masculinely, i am not any closer to my agab. i want to fully transition and still present masculinely. - this means that if i go on hrt i will most likely bind. - i use "nonbinary transmasc" because i feel describes me best, at a point where i feel like no label truly describes me correctly. i am nonbinary, i am trans, and i am masculine. "transfemme man" or "trans masculine woman" don't work for me because i am not femme nor i am a woman, and i'm also not a man. - i understand how saying that i am transmasc is misleading, but i am very open about my gender, and if i wanted to deceive people i would not be writing this document. that's all.
