## Introduction

## The DAO

I decided to deploy VanDAO on the NEAR Protocol using AstroDAO as a platform. The reason behind this was simple, most of my activity has been on NEAR and I have found it quick & affordable to experiment in decentralized governance (as a member of many DAOs), to participate in DeFi & to mint & sell NFTs.

## The Rare Vandal of VanDAO
