# FAQ

*This was an old FAQ for the Beta. Shall we go with these kinds of FAQs. Simple and easy to follow or will it be more of an intro into the Discord Server?*

## Do I need a specific wallet?

Yes, you’ll need a wallet which runs on the Polkadot Network. For this beta, we’ll use a Kusama address. We recommend using the Polkadot.js wallet. Don’t have a wallet yet? [Follow these instructions to get one](https://guide.kusama.network/docs/kusama-claims)

## Do I need a username and password?

No, you won’t need to create another login. However make sure that you first create your Kusama wallet and give the address to Hawkins, our bot. She will give you an access key which grants you access to the beta.

## Where can the access key be found?

Once you receive your access key, you’ll be able to view it here: https://singular.rmrk.app/ Make sure to connect your wallet again in the top right corner. Once that is done you should be able to click into the NFT and see an entire collection.

## What if I have a question?

👋 Hi and welcome to the GameDAO Beta channel. Before we get started, we have a couple of things for you to know and read about:

**🤷‍♂️ What is this all about?**

GameDAO is a community owned cooperative providing fundraising, coordination, and ownership protocols for video games, the creative industry and hyper growth economies.
We want to be the new safe haven for the gaming industry. Therefore we believe in working on our vision with our community. Game creators, gamers, publishers and investors launch next generation games on GameDAO cooperatively and utilize $GAME as a means of protocol access, to participate in governance and for staking.

This enables the creation of financial and organizational primitives, utilizing DAO, DeFi, and NFT protocols for transparent governance, true community ownership, and interoperable economies; transforming the entire game industry into web 3 and beyond.

Creation does not stop when fundraising is settled and communities need better tools to continuously cooperate and govern over certain aspects of their products. Finally, the creator is still in full control of the outcome and can decide with the help of the community to continuously improve the product vision to be successful.

**🕹 So how can the community help?**

By now you know what we want to create. To get where we want to be, we need your support. This is why you’re here. This is why you’re taking part in this beta. The process is quite simple. Don’t worry, we will guide you through every step.

First you’ll need to connect to our bot, Hawkins. To do so enter the command ‘!vt embed’ and respond to all questions. There will be some technical setup with a wallet. (Below you’ll find our FAQs with links to all docs and instructions.) as well as a NFT that is waiting for you. This will be the access key to the beta and we recommend holding on to it. This may come in handy in the near future.

Once you’re all set up, we’ll send you the link to the beta page. Now, we don’t want to spoil anything but there will be quite an interesting quest for you to take part in. Thanks to the NFT we gave you, there won’t be a need for logins or passwords. Just connect your wallet and the magic will unfold in front of your eyes.
