* what worked well
* Google Books API is now populating book information (instead of MongoDB collection); significant additional details like description, reviews, and sales info may be helpful in the future

* Decided on significant new direction for the project and a large number of technical details to enable this change
* Created new course of action/set of milestones
* Made progress on final version of Figma prototype that aligns with new project direction:

* Found potential ability to import Amazon reading lists, but potentially deprecated
* Removed complexity of Google sign in
* what didn't
* Our new direction means we may have to scrap a significant amount of functionality from last term
* GoodReads reading activity import API no longer supports new account creation -- potentially some solution with Selenium, but will likely move to stretch goal
* self assessment on progress
* where are you in relation to progress towards product and milestones?
* Although we have basic functionality for a book app done, we'll need to work hard to achieve our new set of goals. However, this should be doable given some architecture changes and use of open source repos (particularly for UI). We feel we're in a relatively good spot, as long as a lot of the work is front-loaded.
* current week: Work on Figma Prototype V2, fixed use of Google Books API, additional research on importing of reading data from other sites

* week 3: implement user profile object into UI, implement groups object into UI, revise feed and search architecture
* week 4: Finalize implementation of feed and search, display user statistics to UI, create example content with GPT-3
* week 5: Bug fixes, UI improvements, finish alpha release
* week 6: Testing alpha release, more improvements, more example content with live updates
* week 7: Bug fixes, tying loose ends, finish beta release
* week 8: Begin user testing. Collect feedback on the beta release and make changes in line with recommendations.
