Governance: Submit a proposal on forum (ones that require funding). Must meet a particular quorum. Forum, submit proposal, 22 'yesses' then it goes to grants committee - assess whether or not that should be funded. Held to particular KPIs to meet funding requirements. Grants committee is 5-7 members with a multisig they serve for 2 seasons for a maximum of 2 consecutive. Level 1 or higher (bankless DAO member, hold 35000 BANK) Guest pass member (renew every 2 weeks until you earn 35000 BANK).

Governance solution engineer - what's working and what wasn't, submitted some recommendations.

Internal governance within guilds - have their own funding they receive every season. Voting is done through poll voting on Discord. Snapshot voting - its been a while since Feem has done a snapshot.

TLDR

Feems: insurance sector, web2, gov foreign affairs. Digital communications, public policy lobbying. Gets bored easily, equity social justice, loved idea of changing world with technology. Loves idea of disruption on technology - left web2 tech. Living in Berlin - saw remnants of inequity. Worked at an embassy, understood value of relationships. Grew up in canada, originally from east africa. Masters of lobbying & public affairs - policy communication, research, strategy. "How polio is still a global health priority" because I was a rotarian. Advocacy coalition frameworks. Saw the movie about cambridge analytica facebook. Worked in government, then in creative media production - art is a conduit to actual revolutionary change. Found out about DAOs - as original context - technology being used to eradicate unconscious bias and distribution of funds. Dismantling the nonprofit industrial complex - DAOs as effective programs to impact community as a whole. Onboarding mass amounts of people - trying to create something. Attracted to DAOs - dated a few in the fall. Joined Bankless Jan 7th. Was into policy & governments, process - being such a big DAO I needed to understand operation. Joined operations guild, joined research guild. Executive production for africa bankless podcast. A community to be in community - upscale skills I currently have. Bankless is most community centric DAO.

Guilds are part of bankless. This season we're more clear about guilds a place fore people to upscale their current skillsets. Not revenue projects, thats what projects are for. Provides more community health direction.

In DAO space we need to define what is a workforce and what is community. Where people can contribute as community and where as a workforce. Where talk of compensation is more prevalent and louder. A lot of gray areas.

A unique experience with bankless. I onboard people into bankless - I'm in this DAO for a particular reason. I'm either learning or earning - if I'm not learning or earning I'll leave at the end of a season & do something else.

DAOs as a coordination experiment.

Bankless is huge. Somewhat of a city.
