# Strudel Bitcoin (Official) - March AMA

## Question 1:

### It’s been over a week since ICHI launched, is it working as expected?

Yeah, Ichi is doing wonderful. We are already minted more oneVBTC than wing, which was been going on for months

and we're close to having more tokens than the link stable which is a huge feat

Other than that we are about to start a $TRSL/oneVBTC incentive to try and tie in the strudel liquidity more closely with the vBTC price action

not to mention that the REAL utility will be aparent when the sushi lending shows up since we're going to be loaning against our own stablecoin

I'll add that the oneVBTC/vBTC farm is amazing. ICHI is a great reward. You can find a tutorial about how to mint/pool/farm oneVBTC by typing #tutorials

### What is the roadmap for 2021 and beyond?
### Marketing plans, Next steps for partnerships and integrations?
### Better outline the potential use cases for vBTC

Well we are growing. At this stage we feel that the vBTC bridge and peg system are next to complete (with the adition of the lending platform).

In order to mature we want to move to a phase where little to no change is needed to operate "as normal" and have the asset correlate closer to the BTC price most/all of the time.

We are starting to stablish the groundwork for bigger parnerships and insitutional type relationships, that takes time and doesnt happen on public channels. But we're happy to say we are getting interest from a different class of investor who understands that what we have achieved is no small feat.

We are currently talking to chainlink to get the proper oracles for the sushi lending. We are putting vBTC at the frontier of innovation in crypto, which will show everyone how powerful a trully trustless asset is as a collateral layer

So Akashi is the sushi lending platform

and it works alot like an isolated margin account for those who are familiar

meaning is one asset/collateral pair deployed much like a uniswap pool

so you have for example vBTC/oneVBTC

people can deposit vBTC to get credit for a oneVBTC loan

or deposit oneVBTC to earn interest on loans

we can also do a pair with $TRDL/oneVBTC

so you deposit $TRDL and loan oneVBTC or deposit vBTC to earn interest from the loans

### How does Sushis cross chain efforts help our project?

because we can use their bridge

### What is the team's feedback on the viability on my Lotto Proposal as a mechanism for incentivizing vBTC peg?

Referring his governance proposal.
A great way to bring real ideas to the table as an investor.

I think its a good proposal. I think it can be implemented on a medium timeframe because it does require some technical solutions.

A similar effort was produced to create the Dutch auction system and I believe that is underutilized. we could perhaps look at whats built in there again and try to implement the lottery system on top of it to make it more appealing.

Bottom line tho, I think that by courting extra resources from institutional grade investors could solve the issue we have with the peg with the current mechanisms.

This only means that this is our current priority and wouldnt want to pin the expectations to achieve the peg on the lottery system. I'd like to build it as a mechanism to generate revenue to the protocol and give back to the holders for their contributions

### What projects involving NFTs does the team have in mind for Strudel?

So NFTs are super exciting for us right now, but not for the reasons most people are thinking

You probably have met Cameron and heard about some of the shenanigans we have been up to

cant compromise to anything at this stage because its highly experimental

Wrapping my brain around this recently was incredibly brightening.

but we're looking at NFTs as a money lego, not as a novelty type thing

with the Arte protocol we can turn ERC-20 tokens and NFTs into Items which have the property of both classes

### Hello.....when was the first vBTC minted by btw, meaning how long has it been available in the marketplace?

Ataxia,
this opens some new types of transactions such as batch transfering tokens which could make things like a meta bitcoin like the one we created way more accessible.

we still have to figure how to implement all these tools but its something we're sure is going to put us in everyone's radar

I think the protocol was launched in october, you can check the first transactions on the bridge. but we bridged 8 bitcoins from the start until january, 22 until today

### I see lots of chat about NFTs in TG but how does it help Strudel, what are the defined problems that would be solved with NFTs that can’t be solved otherwise?

We are currently planning a new marketing campaign which will try to appeal to the normal guy and market vBTC as "The people's bitcoin" which is trully free from the market manipulation of wall street. lets see how that goes

So NFTs let you access this great P2P market called openSea... luckily on open sea you dont need liquidity to sell your vBTC since its directly from byuer to seller.

This means if we manage to make an active market there people could sell their newly minted vBTCs without moving the price at the liquidity pools

### Do you think that NFTs are to early to integrate into Strudel?
### Lots of people don’t understand value prop of NFTs
NFT tech is very early in development

we're on it. Its a rapidly evolving space and we want to be there when it happens

this means it will not always be easy but we're finding new things first and thats very valuable

### What's that about and can it 100% ensure it will pegged all time?

well once you ahve enough market participants and the ammount of vBTC is large enough the market will stop traing it at a markdown

### Are we going to keep the Uniswap liquidity permanently?

yeah, part of thhis is having many liquid markets

we need to find more incentives to do so

one big part of it is the mare ibrium fund from adventuretoken.com

### What are the use cases for TRDL that might be VERY appealing? I think there is a worry about getting over sold and further gets diluted. I understand that it has a governance protocol included but is there something where people actually want to keep their TRDL’s? We want hodlers no?

they said tuesday launch and im talking with chainlink to get fast tracked

the lending is permissionless so its not depending on sushi
