# 60th Anniversary Relisten List #**RELEASES** **TITLE**| **WRITERS** |**WHY?** | -------- | -------- | -------- | |The Five Doctors Audiobook|Terrance Dicks|An audiobook reading of the 25th anniversary story is a no-brainer, plus how good is Jon Culshaw? |The Making of Doctor Who|Terrance Dicks; Malcolm Hulke|I dunno, it just seems right. The audio was made specifically for the 60th, be silly not too. |The Legacy of Time|James Goss; John Dorney; Guy Adams; Matt Fitton; Jonathan Morris|Big Finish's 20th anniversary release, featuring all available Doctors and covers multiple ranges, seems fitting enough. |Zagreus|Alan Barnes; Gary Russell|Well why not celebrate the 40th anniversary with a highly underrated/over-hated story! |The Light at the End|Nicholas Briggs|Well, why not celebrate the 50th anniversary with an averagely rated/still very enjoyable story! |The Four Doctors|Peter Angehelides|It's a multi-Doctor story innit. |The Five Companions|Eddie Robson|It's a multi-Companion story innit. |Farewell, Great Macedon|Moris Farhi|I couldn't not have a story without the OG Companions, and what a great story this is. |Daughter of the Gods|David K Barnes|Well obviously I had to have the story that celebrates 5 years of Doctor Who. Plus Daleks. |The Black Hole|Simon Guerrier|A fantastic story, features The Monk, very wanky and very fun. |Lords of the Red Planet|Brian Hayles; John Dorney|An Ice Warrior origin story that's also just really bloody good? What's not to love! |Third Doctor Adventures Vol. 1|Justin Richards; Andy Lane|It's the first 3DA out. Seems fitting. Plus to me The Havocs of Empire is still one of the best 3DA's of the whole range, and is just a very well-constructed story. |The Comic Strip Adaptations|Alan Barnes|Celebrates the Fourth Doctor, dives into other EU, and of course features Beep the Meep. |The Auton Infinity|Tim Foley|A story that celebrates the whole Fifth Doctor era, features Autons and the Master? Why the hell not. |The Sixth Doctor: The Last Adventure|Simon Barnard; Paul Morris; Alan Barnes; Matt Fitton; Nicholas Briggs|What better way to celebrate Sixie than with a set spanning his life and featuring his ending? |Cold Fusion|Lance Parkin|Features the Seventh Doctor and his VNA companions, why not. |Project: Destiny; Protect and Survive/Black and White/Gods and Monsters Arc|Mark Wrigh; Cavan Scott; Jonathan Morris; Matt Fitton; Alan Barnes|With some absolutely fantastic stories, and tying up an arc a decade in the making, I have too! |Lucie Miller/To the Death|Nicholas Briggs|I can't believe I'm making myself relive this story again, 8 or so years after I first heard it, but I'll have to rip the bandaid off sometime. |He Who Fights Monsters|Rob Valentine|As well as being the most recent....it's just really good. Carley's best work, and probably the best War Doctor story Big Finish have done. Plus there's such an element of fanwank to it, and shows that Rob Valentine....is a real huge DW nerd. |Back to Earth|Robert Valentine; Sarah Grochala; Tim Foley|Just some fun fantastic Ninth Doctor Stories. |Assorted Tenth Doctor Adventures|James Goss? Probably?|I haven't figured out which 10DA's, but probably Death and the Queen, Infamy of the Zaross and No Place? It seems fitting. Or maybe Tenth Doctor, Classic Companions? Oh and definitely throw Expiry Dating in there. |Regeneration Impossible|Alfie Shaw|Look I had to have a Short Trip in there somewhere. And this covers 11 and 12 then. |The New Adventures of Bernice Summerfield Vol. 7: Blood and Steel|James Goss; Aaron Lamont; Rochana Patel; Victoria Saxton|Ticks all the boxes: A fantastic set, features Benny, features the Unbound Doctor (and dare I say one of his best performances), features the Cybermen (and is a fantastic story for the Cybermen). |Masterful|James Goss|Well obviously I had to have a release that celebrates the Master. There we go: A list that gives every Doctor a story to shine, covers most monsters (I haven't done Weeping Angels, but otherwise you got Dalek, Cybermen, Master, Sontaran, Ice Warrior all covered).
