# Experimental Weapon Antag ## So what is an experimental weapon and why is it good? - Well its good for the game because we need a few more sci fi antagonists that fit the theme of space station 13 - An experimental weapon is a crewmember who starts off with an unusual experiment having been done to them which leaves them with 1 of 4 starting weapons - Depending on your weapon you may be prompted with different tasks, for example eating organs or hacking technology - Slowly overtime whilst doing these tasks your body will begin to morph as your powers grow - You will have one designated "Friend" (An optional thing in the antag menu). This friend will halt your metamorphosis and freeze your objectives whilst they are in your presence. Whilst you are an antag it makes sense for you to avoid your friend but you may not harm them nor commit acts of mass destruction that may harm them - Optionally if this antag is considered too "Good" an Overseer role may be added with the objective of overseeing the weapons development and ensure lower amounts of harm are incurred ## The Weapon Types When this antag is rolled one of three types will be selected (My personal favorite is the host) but the rest are free to be removed if less varied gameplay is desired ### Tech chipped #### General concept: - You are a person chipped with a special particle technology - This tech chip allows you to manipulate technology and metal, such as transmuting and moving knives - For example, you turn on a turret or empty an energy gun being shot at you #### Stages and progression: - For each stage you have to hack/transmute 3 + 2x to progress (Where X is the stage to progress to) 1. Light tech manipulation, your starting tech. You can manipulate and move some tech like telekenisis. You can emag non-borg machines too. And open doors. Also the ability to drain charge out of guns. 2. Light tech transmutation, You can change small tech items into other tech items through a radial menu. Example of a small tech item (circutry/electronics, cameras, tools) 3. Matter manipulation, You can move and raise walls (on a long cooldown) and move aswell as use and stop bullets, knives and more. Also destroy walls. 4. Matter transmutation, You can turn iron and other materials into autolathe items and more. Like for example creating a knife out of an iron sheet. 5. Technological transmutation, You can turn APCs, consoles and machines into other other machines. You can also turn guns into other guns. An example of usage is turning a chemistry machine into a turret. 6. Tech Chip mastery, You can halt energy bolts in their track and drag items into your hand. You can also raise structures from floors, and cuff them to the floor. ### Cyberlivitas #### General concept: - You are a person chipped with a special cybernetic technology - This tech chip allows you to manipulate matter into cybernetic augmentations to change yourself - For example, you gather metal to create yourself an augmented set of hands to extend blades from your arms. #### Stages and progression: - For each stage you need to gather metal and limbs. 4x sheets and 2x limbs (Where X is the stage to progress to) 1. Light augmentation, you start with cybernetic organs 2. Improved augmentation, all your organs are upgraded cybernetic versions 3. Heavy implantation, You gain a reviver, reboot, anti-drop, thruster and toolarm implant. Your left arm now also holds a retractable blade which deals as much damage as an esword 4. Replication, You will slowly heal over time and you gain the ability to magnetically lock yourself to the ground preventing movement and stun damage 5. Gun arm, Pretty self explanitory you gain an arm implantation that allows you to fire an Uzi weapon with unlimited ammo. The reload takes about 6 seconds after emptying a magazine. 6. Cybernetic mastery, You gain a strong self heal ability, double health, space immunity (temp and pressure), and your uzi is upgraded to an L6 SAW whilst your blade now deals as much damage as a Powercrepe ### Host #### General concept: - You are a person implanted with a parasite intended on extending your abilities - You will be forced to eat organs and all the while the parasite will be spurring on your mutation - For example, you may feast upon corpses to gain fleshy wings - (This is based on https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=63bUBEIhpNk&t=236s specifically the character "Uzi" and their progression) #### Stages and progression: - For each stage you need to eat organs, 3 + 5X (Where X is the stage to progress to) 1. Light influence, you gain the ability to eat directly from a corpse eating their organs to count towards you objective as well as heal yourself. Whilst eating you may spew up blood (To leave DNA evidence and make the antag more horrific) 2. Mutation start, Your heart beats faster, you gain the ability to ignore a hit of stamina damage. This ability resets itself after 2 minutes. Your jaw also becomes larger and you gain an active ability to use your jaw to gnash at a target in melee range. 3. Claws of bone, You gain unretractable claws that heavily increase your melee damage and cause a wounding effect on the struck person. These claws also make glove wearing impossible. The gloves also count as you having "Large fingers" 4. Parasitic tail, You gain a tail that allows you to block incoming melee attacks once every 10 seconds and allow you to perform a tail sweep causing a knockdown and disarm 5. Beastial sprinting, You are now faster and gain the ability to sprint even faster using stamina. You also attack faster (Click cap decreased to .8) 6. Full conversion, You gain a set of fleshy wings allowing travel in zero gravity as if you had a jetpack and blocking ranged fire at you. You also gain the ability to smash through walls.
