## Gluttonous Guys

* These NPCs are scattered throughout the canon cities on the server.
* You can sell any professions items that you’ve acquired.
* *Raw Fish, Tea, Snacks, Full Meals, & Crops*
* You’ll get less money than if you were to sell them to the appropriate profession master, although it can be more convenient if you want to get rid of many different items at once.
## Consumable Item Types
There are multiple types of consumable items that you can use:
* **Full Meals**
* *Long Durations*
* *5 Minute Cooldown*
* *Provide Large Stat Boosts*
* *Often Increase Your Maximum Health*
* *Often increase Your Health Regeneration*
* **Snacks**
* *Short Durations*
* *45 Second Cooldown*
* *Provide Very Short Bursts of Healing*
* *Provide Small Stat Boosts*
* **Tea**
* *Long Durations*
* *5 Minute Cooldown*
* *Primarily provide energy-related stat boosts*
* *Can provide percent modifiers to your existing stats*
> In addition to these, many ingredients can be consumed to restore your hunger.
**You cannot have multiple effects from the same category active at once.**
Because of this, its important to keep a variety of item types in order to maximize your potential buffs.

## Starting Out
To start out with in the brewing profession, you should speak to the **Brewing Master** NPC located in your capital city.
**At these NPCs you can:**
* Buy recipe books which are used to unlock even more unique teas
* Buy brewing stands and empty tea cups
* Sell any tea items that you have created for a nice profit

## Brewing Minigame
1. **Obtaining a Brewing Stand**
* To access the brewing interface you simply need to [right-click on a brewing stand](https://i.imgur.com/Wi14zzs.mp4). These can be crafted or bought at the brewing master NPCs.
1. **Navigating the Brewing Interface**
* Within this interface you can see the steps that will need to be performed within the brewing minigame
* By [right-clicking](https://i.imgur.com/gVhsPz8.mp4) you can also see the resulting item's stat effects as well as your proficienccy level in it.
2. **Starting a Brew**
* Before you start brewing a tea, make sure that you have gathered all of the ingredients that are necessary to complete the recipe.
* *You can gather ingredients by trading with other players, buying them from vendors, or growing them yourself through the farming profession.*
* You will also need empty tea cups which can be crafted or bought from vendors.
* When you are ready to begin a brew, simply click on the recipe in the menu that you wish to create.

4. **The Brewing Process**
* The most important part of the brewing minigame is knowing what steps to take. You can find out your current step (as well as several others) by hovering over the book located on the bottom row of the minigame.
* When performing a step you will need to make sure that the heat of the brew is at the correct value. You are able to adjust the heat by using the up and down arrows near the middle of the interface.
* *To add ingredients, simply click on them in the top-most row of the interface.*
* *In order to stir a brew, you must click on the shovel item located.*
* The clock located on the right side of the minigame represents the time you have before you fail the brew.
* *You can also see the current quality you will produce which is represented by a gold, silver, or bronze star on the bottom row.*

5. **Enjoy Your Tea!**
* Now that you've made your very own tea, you can either choose to sell it for a profit or hold onto it and benefit from the powerful stat bonuses that it may provide.
> **HINT:** Using higher quality ingredients will increase the timer by several seconds, this can be crucial to successfully brewing many high-tier teas.
### Item Proficiency
Every brewing recipe has its own individual "proficiency level". As you increase this level, the duration of the timer will increase as well, making it much easier to brew the higher quality results of your recipes.
Proficiency levels 5 & 10 are important milestones as they increase the quantity that you produce by +1.

## Starting Out

## Recipes
In order to access the cooking recipe menu you will need to right click on a cauldron filled with water.
While you will automatically learn a few recipes as you level up, you can also purchase more unique food recipes from the different Master Chef NPCs throughout the world.
However, remember that this knowledge does not come free, recipes will cost yuans, and you will have to have enough experience before the chefs will trust you with their recipes.
> **TIP:** Every nation has their own unique cuisine, so make sure to speak with all of Master Chef NPCs if you want to experience every new food available.
### Item Proficiency
Every cooking recipe has its own individual "proficiency level". As you increase this level the cooking process for that food will become more efficient and you will be more likely to create higher quality foods.

The snack items within professions function similarly to the potions found within other RPG games. They provide rapid yet small bursts of healing and can greatly assist you in the middle of a fight.
By default, you will produce x3 of the result when creating snack items. This amount can be increased as your proficiency in the recipe rises.

Full meal items typically provide long lasting buffs, increase your maximum health, as well as increase your health regeneration.

## Starting Out

* Buy and attach lures
* Sell raw fish for yuans
* Trade in raw fish for processed ingredients & junk items

## Fishing

There are over 60 unique fish that you can catch within the fishing profession!
While fishing may be one of the simpler professions, it can still be an excellent way to pass the time and make profits/gather ingredients in the process.
### Fishing Poles

There are many unique fishing poles that you can choose from, each of which has their own strengths and weaknesses.
* **Pole Strength:** This represents what fish sizes you will be more likely to catch.
* *The better the strength the more likely you are to catch larger fish.*
* **Wait Time:** This represents how frequently you will catch a fish.
* **Fish Retention:** This represents how long a fish will stay on the hook before swimming away and failing the catch.
### Fish vs Junk
#### **Fish**
* You're able to sell the raw fish that you catch at the Fish Aficionado NPCs for direct yuans.
* Alternatively, you may also trade-in the fish that you catch and recieve valuable cooking ingredients or junk items as a result.
#### **Junk**
* Despite this being the fishing profession, you might still reel in a random junk item every now and then.
* These junk items can be sold to special "Junk Buyer" NPCs located within the capital city markets for a combination of yuans or other valuable materials.
## Lures & Lure Qualities
Lures are items that can be added to your fishing poles in order to make them better fit with your fishing style.

Lures also have their own "qualities" which will increase the chances of catching certain fish.
For example, the "tasty" quality is more likely to attract with with a large amount of cooking ingredients as their trade-in items.
Lures can be attached by speaking to the Fish Aficionado and selecting the "Help attach lures" option within the dialogue.

> * Use a pole with a rarity equal to or higher than the lure

You can find a wide variety of fish based on the location that you are in. Below is a list of the different locations that can affect the fish you catch (as well as any smaller regions that can be found within them):

## Starting Out
To begin, you should speak to the **Farming Master** NPC located in your capital city. At these NPCs you can:

* Buy fertilizers that can be applied to your crops

## Growing Crops
### **Requirements**
The following are required before you can plant a new crop:
* You are the appropriate level in the farming profession.
* You are placing the seeds on **wet farmland**.
* Decent light source
> **NOTE:** Only 48 crops can be actively growing at a time within a single chunk.
### **Crops**
Different crops tend to have different traits associated with them.
**Example:** *One crop might take a long time to grow but have little to no chance of infestation, while another may grow rapidly but be very sucseptible to infestations.*
You're able to see the this information by hovering over the seed item in your inventory.

Once a crop has finished growing, it will enter a "rotting" phase. It is important to check in on your crops frequently and harvest them before they fully rot away.
### **Proficiency Levels**
Every single crop has it's own individual **"proficiency level"** that you can increase the more that you harvest it. As you increase this level, you will:
* Increase the crop's growth speed
* Increase the time before a crop rots away
* Unlock higher quality versions of the crop
## Fertilizers

> Example of a fertilizer's description
Fertilizers are single-use items that can be applied to your crops and provide a variety of buffs/debuffs:
* **Growth Speed:** *Modifies how fast a crop grows*
* **Weed Resistance:** *Modifies the chance for a crop to become infested while its growing*
* **Crop Yield Boost:** *Increases the amount of items that are provided when harvesting a crop*
* **Crop Quality Boost:** *Increases the chance of getting high quality drops when harvesting a crop*
You can buy nearly all fertilizers from the Farming Master NPCs, although some can be acquired through other means such as crafting, trading in items caught while fishing, etc.
