    # newsletter 0 ## I want to make a super computer out of people Barry, [2/15/24 9:50 AM] Yesterday me and Chiali were joking around because chat gpt was down. I volenteered to be chat gpt and chiali asked me to draw a picture of someone putting a sim in a phone. I replied iwth \o/' [ o] Barry, [2/15/24 9:50 AM] It got me thinking. How could we do this with people machines. Barry, [2/15/24 9:51 AM] So we got to find a way to find ppl who are good at drawing. Seems we could have a task where ppl are asked to draw and then another task where they are asked to review each others drawings. Barry, [2/15/24 9:51 AM] But this might not work because its subjective. Barry, [2/15/24 9:51 AM] And they might be selecting for something that is not what we are looking for. Barry, [2/15/24 9:52 AM] So then i thought about how can we make a game that does not select for good drawers but selects for people who might be good drawers. Barry, [2/15/24 9:52 AM] Why not play pictionary with all the ppl in the machine. We ask everyone to draw something , a hat , fear, love, a bird. and then we ask other ppl to recognise these things. Barry, [2/15/24 9:53 AM] Then we can find who is the best pictionary team out there Barry, [2/15/24 9:53 AM] That would be very fun just as an art project Barry, [2/15/24 9:53 AM] But it also works as an anti sybil mechinisim Barry, [2/15/24 9:53 AM] and i bet the ppl who are good at pictionary would also be good at chialis task Barry, [2/20/24 9:55 AM] I want to make a super computer out of people. So that you can assign tasks to millions of ppl and they can get paid and managed by the system. Barry, [2/20/24 9:57 AM] For example you can make a ppl machine that plays Pictionary very well. You hire a thousand ppl. And get 500 to draw pictures and the other 500 to recognise them. Then you can rank the guesseres and the drawers and use that to decide what guess to make. Barry, [2/20/24 9:57 AM] This is the training phase Barry, [2/20/24 9:57 AM] Once you have the structure of who is good and who is bad you can start to play. Barry, [2/20/24 9:58 AM] You get many drawers to draw and show the pictures to the guesseres until you get the right answer Barry, [2/20/24 9:58 AM] A regular computer would never be as good at this as the ppl machine would be. Barry, [2/20/24 9:59 AM] Then you can use the same infrastructure to spin up an org that can do anything. Barry, [2/20/24 9:59 AM] You can use the same approach to train your org Barry, [2/20/24 10:00 AM] You could make a delivery system or a chess bot that can beat grand masters. Barry, [2/20/24 10:00 AM] You could build a gr8 poet machine Barry, [2/20/24 10:01 AM] Of find the best mathematicians by asking millions of ppl to solve math problems and paying them to try. Barry, [2/20/24 10:01 AM] You can find good teachers and then pay them to teach good students Barry, [2/20/24 10:02 AM] All of this can be built with no external interactions. Just pair up everyone and see who succeeds on the task. ## TLSN: state root for the internet Seems like it might be fun to try and use tlsn to make a state root of the internet. 12:08 PM Where many users crawle the web and we can send proofs to ppl that its correct using TLSN to make the proofs we can build a pretty resonable picture of the web. This way you can browse the web via a web browser requesting sites or you could just grab it on IPFS where the important parts have lots of seeds The problem with decentralizing the internt at the moment is that you don't know what you are looking for. Eigen trust for example was a way to find out who to trust when they said that file x was actually a certain song. Seems that TLSN can allow us to make the internet objective. ## Cryptography, taking the currancy out of crypto currancy since 2024 * Our world is defined by language and the language of economics is money. * Money can say only some times. It can say i owe you , you owe me, It can say i will pay you and it can say CC will pay me. * Because the only language in our economic world is money it can become a universal liquidator. * Money can degrade teh value of x becuase everything x is worth 10 dollars and y is worth 10 dollars their for they must be worth the same amount. * Money is a language of secrets. It is a recursive proof that you only see the output. The value of the last transaction. This persons total available balance is proved to you by them handing you that amount of money. * ZKPs exist now. So we can make other languages to talk about our world. * We’ve been using Money as a ZKP of you have performed some money worthy work, but nobody knows exactly what work you performed. * You can think of this idea as the lanague of our economy and that language is private. * Because this language is only arrived at a certin moment and pay the money there are big limitaitons in waht you can say. * One exampl eis the trageidy of watesd liquidity. Where I got to pay CC who is gonna pay Yahsin who is gonna pay me. I get a loan, pay cc who pays Yahsin who pays me. I lose money cos of the interest on the loan. * The money ZKP is inherintely limited because it does not let us solve more than two party interaction. * If we use programable cryptography we can solve these types of problems.
