## Use case:
Create a command line application which assists us internally in processing data provided to us (initially) in JSON/XML format by marketplaces that we are looking to integrate.

### Language choices:
- Laravel (php)
- C#.

#### Laravel pros:
- A chance to learn how to build a web app.
- Makes a useful tool. Github-able for portfolio purposes?

#### Laravel cons:
- Not a native JSON language:
- Web app adds a lot of uncessesary complexity.
- Difficult to debug. (At least with my current level of proficiency.)
- Looks like it doesn't include a lot of datastructures out of the box.

#### C# pros:
- I have already learned C, which includes datastructures which I have already used and am proficient in.
- It's a modern language in comparison to C.
- C# has no unnecessary web-app complexity. (Allows simple command line apps)
- It's a language native to JSON.
- Existing JSON.NET frameworks will make programming faster and more enjoyable.

First of all, since JSON is not native PHP format or even native JavaScript format, everyone who wants to use JSON wisely should carefuly read official documentation. There is a link to it here, in "Introduction" section. Many questions like "it doesn't recognize my strings" and those like previous one (about zip codes) will drop if you will be attentive!
