## Agenda
1. **Steering Committee Election**: The *Acting Steering Committee* will propose the initial *Steering Committee* consisting of three members selected from the MAINTAINERS list of main projects. If you're interested in being nominated for the first Steering Committee, please reach out to us as soon as possible.
2. **Request for Project Roadmaps on Nipreps Repositories**: Maintainers from the main projects of the NiPreps collaboration should add roadmaps to their respective GitHub repositories.
## Suggestions / TBD
Please add here topics you want to bring up or that you feel we missed in the list above.
## Project statuses/summaries
- ASLPrep
- Largely based on fMRIPrep. Motion correction and slice timing correction are quite different, and ASLPrep has a major extra step wherein CBF is calculated, but structural image processing, distortion correction, coregistration, and normalization steps are basically the same.
- ASLPrep contained internal copies of old versions of sMRIPrep, SDCFlows, niworkflows, and pybids. Taylor has successfully excised the pybids, niworkflows, and sMRIPrep copies, but SDCFlows has been more difficult. Taylor may join the biweekly technical meetings to get help with this. He also wants to support surfaces.
- Taylor is the main code contributor, along with some help with Matt Cieslak. There are also a couple of domain experts who consult on the methods, including Sudipto Dolui and Manuel Taso.
- Oscar has proposed a QC project, like MRIQC, which would make it easier to separate out quality control from processing. Taylor will discuss this with domain expert contributors to see if there are useful QC metrics/figures that can be produced without running all of the ASLPrep pipeline.
- Ted Satterthwaite (the project funder) has given Taylor permission to adopt nipreps governance procedure and be a part of the nipreps organization, but he wants to maintain ownership of the ASLPrep repository and Docker image under the PennLINC organization.
- Nibabies
- Equivalent to fMRIPrep, but (1) focuses on 0-2 year olds and (2) prioritizes T2w structural images.
- fMRIPrep
- Chris is working on a minimal pipeline, which just outputs the reference images and transforms. In `next` branch.
- Can be described as "fit" and "apply" pipelines.
- PETPrep
- Nirodents
- MRIQC
- Working on authorization for pushing QC metrics to the database, so folks can't add fake data.
- dMRIPrep
- Work will be ramping up for a new project with lots of DWI data.
