## Silent Documenting:
### 1. The role of Training Liasons (TrLs) and the TrSG
**Current Governance document:** [text](https://docs.google.com/document/d/1W87CmAc-g0IRPV_CjD1k7I1tz-T6m0PYs1JJVb0OScA/edit)
### What are the expectations
* **on TrLs/TrSG from the team members?**
I would expect team members to "use" TrL in their team as a person who can answer basic NBIS training questions such as Where do I find information? Who should I contact for admin/economic questions or Canvas questions?
TrLs to also pass on feedbacks regarding training from the team to the TrSG.
TrLs should also be able to get feedback about training needs within the team
* **on TrLs/TrSG from the team managers?**
Team managers should be able to get an overview on how and where colleagues in the team spend training. TrLs to link to inventory documents
Team managers to adress questions to TrLs that will be transferred to TrSG when needed.
* **on TrLs/TrSG from the Training Coordinators(TrC)?**
* To be the eyes and ears outwards, a channel for information and updates, faster feedback on materials, information and what needs to be done. Do divide the necessary labour with arranging teaching so that each task lands where it is best handled.
* To feed-back any information regarding updates from NBIS training (as well as this being said in any Thursday meeting).
* The TrLs to have an overview on their teams training activities and involved colleagues (at least who are Course leaders and teachers and for which courses)
* **on TrCs from the TrLs?**
TrCs to spearhead strategy planning and outline training activities.
### What do you want the TrSG to work on?
* To discuss and decide on best-practices (e.g if we set-up guidelines on how to make training materials FAIR) that all teams and members should know about
* Landscape analysis across teams (will show how engagement are distributed across teams as well as provide possible gap-analysis)
* Share how to make training materials as openly available as possible (reaching beyond the course instance)
* Discuss any possible internal training needs
* align courses from different groups/communities
* find gaps in teaching material and try to fill those in = new courses needed?
* evaluate performance of courses offered in terms of attendance, demand, feedbacks etc and identify factors to improve or perhaps drop the course
* write a performance review at the end of the year
