## Silent documenting
### 1. Training onboarding for new employees
What does a new employee at NBIS need to know about training?
* How much time allocation can one give to training as a TA/Instructor etc ? (= Expectations wrt engaging in training activities)
* General information on what training is at NBIS. How to engage in the training and in what ways it can be done. What is expected from the new employee (if there are expectations at all?).
* General overview of the course catalogue. What are the available courses (and resources)
* Who is the TrL of their team
* What is CANVAS and how it is used
* There is a google training calendar that you can add to your calendar.
What does the TrSG need to know about the new employee?
* What courses can the new employee contribute to? What are their expertise and interests?
* Prior experience with training
* General interest in teaching
How should this information reach the new employee?
* (Apart for the meeting) In SysDevs we have a document (Hitchhiker's guide to NBIS) with all the information we consider important for new employees, such as where we store documents, whom to contact with specific questions etc. Maybe something similar would make sense to training?
* If possible, personal meetings between TrC/TL and the newly employed
* Each team (and the corresponding TLs) should present/highlight training activities to the new employees
### 2. Training offboarding for employees
What should someone leaving NBIS do in regards to training before leaving?
* Use a checklist with signatures to make sure they contact all the people as required
* If the person is a course leader, make a suggestion for his/her replacement (or actively help finding a replacement).
* Make sure there is documentation on the material being "left behind"
* Make sure training material is "located" at NBIS
## AOB
