# Multi-tenant support doc
This document highlights the changes made by the UNWB development team to provide a smooth transition to our new tenants on the UNWB platform.
## Changes:
### 1. Download/upload catalogue structure
A tenant can create a catalogue on the UNWB test environment to play around. In order to avoid repeating the same activity on the production, UNWB platforms provides functionality to download the created catalogue structure and then upload it to the production environment.
### 2. Product upload/download
A new functionality has been developed to upload the product data to the system using Excel files. The uploaded products can be updated at any time. These Excel file also ensure data validation.
The system provides a flexibility to upload only a few (mandatory) fields. In case of any error, a new Excel file gets downloaded with highlighted issues and with extra fields that the user can provide later.
#### Mandatory fields:
UNWB Category, Supplier UNGM ID, Contract#, Line, and Name
#### Basic fields:
These are non-mandatory fields and new tenants might be having some of these in their existing system - Ordering code, SKU, Brand, Short description, long description, http link, Quantity per sales units*, Sales unit**, Minimum sales unit per order***, unit of measure***, price, currency, incoterm, delivery points, origin country, production time(days), shipping description, Is ex-stock?, height(mm), length(mm), weight(kg), Is hazardous cargo?, UN class, UN number, Hazardous goods document type, Is available for containerized shipment?, 40ft capacity, 20ft capacity, 40ft HC capacity, Is container roundtrip included?, Is loading and lashing included?, Pick up address, Is RORO? and RORO incoterm.
#### Specifications fields:
These are category-specific fields.
### 3. External Product IDs
UNWB system now has an external Product ID field to support the product IDs of the tenants.
### 4. Support for inland delivery points (work in progress)
This will allow inland locations (like cities, villages, building names) to be used as delivery points. Previously only airports and seaports were supported.
### 5. Allow adding categories to an already published catalogue
Previously once a catalogue got published, no new categories could be added to it. Now this is possible.
## Glossary
* Unit of measure: Describes a single unit of product. This unit can also be used to compare prices between several suppliers (e.g. - unit, liter or kilogram). Price for the product should always be set per unit of measure (as opposed to sales unit).
* Sales unit: Unit in which products are packaged and sold (e.g. - a box or a bottle)
* Quantity per sales unit: How many actual units are inside one sales unit (e.g. - 6 units per box)
* Minimum sales units per order: This is the minimum quantity of sales units a client can order (e.g. - 100 boxes)
