*Who makes up your team? What are some common things you are interested in? Tell each other about the things you put down on the survey and expand on some of your passions.*
**Georgia**: Rural America (Appalachia), only asian kid in my high school class, enjoy reading and knitting
**Tanner**: Third generation American, first generation, POC, Queer.
**Jose**: Myself: immigrant, Immigrant communities, inclusive access to information, barrier removal, Increase in communities, app development
**Eyasu**: International student from Ethiopia, passionate about finding a community, computer science
**Commmon**: POC / minority groups, interested in inclusivity, computer science
### Inspiration
*What are some things each of you is inspired by?*
**Georgia**: Inspired by barriers underrepresented groups overcome.
**Tanner**: Including groups that are historically underrepresented, leveling the playing ground for everyone, hearing people's background and stories.
**Jose**: Social justice and targeted actions to remove racial, econonmic and language barriers. Also inspired by the wave of communication and peoples ability to access infromation on the internet.
**Eyasu**: inspired by anything that helps lift communities that face racial, economic, political, and social barriers
### Problems of Interest
*What problems are you looking to address? Why?*
**Georgia**: Connecting individuals in new and unfamiliar environments. Loneliness.
**Tanner**: The lack of resources for certain groups of people, simple/easily accesible tech to these groups.
**Jose**: Misinformation, modern day segregation and divisions within different cultures in America.
**Eyasu**: the barriers international and immigrant communties face when it comes to connecting with like minded people with similar backgrounds

The removal of barriers from different under-represented communities and creating connections between like minded people.

*What could be cool about this potential project?*
Encouraging creation of creative connections between individuals. What are some strange things that people have in common that they want to connect about?
Actually making a social impact to communities through software.
#### Challenges
*What could be challenging / unfun about this potential project?*
There are two main barriers for this project. The first one will be finding a creative/effectice way to remove historic barriers between social groups. The second biggest barrier will defintely be actually implementing the code/technology needed to accomplish this project since it involves creating a unique social platform.
#### Success
*What does success look like for this project?*
Creating an app that gives people a sense of community where it would otherwise be difficult. Allowing different communities to find commonalities that they can connect over and removing language, cultural and racial barriers.
