# Microfacet Hair Normals

Next steps:
1. Add RNA API to access curves normals at control points (Hans).
2. Finish the microfacet hair cycles patch by just using that RNA API and get that into master (Weizhen).
3. Look into adding more methods to compute normals to the curves type in Blender/Geometry nodes (all of us):
* Curvature based
* Only look at control points (instead of at all evaluated points)
* Custom normals
