# 期待看到大家的第一次交換！Looking forward to the first exchange!

Dear Friends in the Future,

十分感謝各位撥空遠端參與我們的實驗線上駐村計劃，我們將很快透過在維基上交換一個你的技術完成計劃中的第一次交換，我們不知道會收到您什麼，但是我們知道每一個人來到這裡都帶著問題 / 答案關於：如何使用科技來賦予少數族群權力？DIY技術能否在沒有資金偏差的情況下產生可持續的生產系統？「工藝」有無可能作為建立跨學科社區的媒介？社群對你而言代表著什麼意義？藝術和社會設計項目能否找到共地？

我們希望您花點時間介紹我們你在維基上提交的「技術」的口頭解釋，並包含以上這些問題的簡短想法。我們希望邀請您在9月10日至14日對我們進行15 - 20分鐘的簡短發表。請在週末前點入以下問卷連結並填寫此問卷表格在這五天中選一天你能參加的時段。

我們也將活動的時間和訊息重整了，以便大家更容易找到資料。

We are going to have our first exchange done very soon, we don’t know what we will have from you, I know every one of you came here carrying questions/answers for how technology can be used in order to empower the minorities? Can DIY techniques generate a sustainable production system alongside without the capital bias? Can “craft” be used as a media to establish a transdisciplinary community? and what does a community mean? Can art and social design projects find a common ground?

We wish to take a little bit of time from you to give us a “zoom in” about your opinion for questions above, along with the oral explanation of the “technique” you have submitted to our wiki. We hope to invite you to give us a 15-minutes short talk about it from September 10 to 14. Please let us know which date and hour meet your convenience by filling out this form before this weekend.

We also re-assembled all the informations of the event into one page, so now you know where to find it easier.

- 技術解釋會 Techniques zoom in:
在 9/10 ~ 14 的晚上 10 點到 11 點（台灣時間） ，我們將安排技術解釋會，每人輪流進行 15 分鐘的分享，雖然你已經上傳這個技術在維基上，但我們還是希望你能花一點時間在視訊會議中向其他的參與者解釋你的技術~ 請在本週末前填寫這個時間調查表。

- 找到你的夥伴 Find Your Group:
九月底時，我們預計讓大家分組進行下一階段的原型發想，因此在接下來的這段時間，請盡你所能去和有興趣的參與者聊天，了解他們所使用的創作技法與媒材，並且幫自己找到下一階段的小組夥伴（一組上限 5人）。
By the end of Sep., we need to group participants for developing the prototype in Oct. Therefore, please try your best to have conversations with the participants who own the skill / techniques that you are interested in and find your partners for the next stage. ( There’s a limit of 5 ppl for one group )

- 實體工作坊改期 We Reschedule the Physical Workshop：
原本將在草屯工藝中心舉行的實體工作坊現在我們改期為十月 3、4、5、6、7、8 連續六天，而非三個週末。這個實體工作坊的性質是一場和遠端藝術家一起合作的黑客松，工藝中心具備織布、植物染、藍染、後製加工針車等設備，但參與人員需具備染、織技術及可獨立操作之能力。
The physical workshops that were originally to be held in Caotun Craft Center are now rescheduled to October 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, and 8 for six consecutive days instead of three weekends. The nature of this physical workshop is a hackathon that collaborate with remote artists under the frame we will co-create in September. The craft center is equipped with equipment such as weaving, plant dyeing, indigo dyeing, and post-processing sewing machines, but the participating personnel must have dyeing and weaving skills and the ability to operate independently.
