We are a collective working towards making tools that anyone can use to help build and grow their organizations. ### Governance We are not controlled by any single individual, but are instead a collective of both organizations and individuals practicing radical collaboration. As an emergent entity, everything is in flux, including contributors, compensation, tools, ideas and philosophy! It’s better to think of as an organic growing organism that is forging new ways of collaboration. Beceause we believe in sticking around for a long time, we do not and will not raise venture capital. While venture capital works for some systems, it doesn’t always lead to long term projects with human interests in mind. DAO DAO is proud to be *just* a DAO. ### Contributions DAO DAO is built and owned by contributors, those who contribute to DAO DAO. DAO DAO is the result of many contributions. We are a collective of individuals and organizations who are working together to build the next generation of governance tools. The best way to join dao dao is to contribute in some way! Over time you may find your contributions becoming larger or smaller. We have experimental retroactive funding methods that can help reward contributions, but in most or cases, dao dao is not a full time employer. ### Compensation We aim to recognize those who create value with $DAO tokens. We are experimenting with different ways to do this, but for now, we are using a simple system of retroactive rewards. DAO DAO is a loose collective of people. We want to stay small and nimble, so we don’t have a formal compensation structure. Instead, we use a retroactive rewards system to compensate contributors. If you are looking for stable employment, there are many institutions available. We do not hire people. ### Partnerships We seek to collaborate and not compete. We believe that the best way to build a better future is to work together. Shared economics incentives are a great way to allign communities. If you are wishing to partner with us, giving tokens to the DAO DAO treasury or working with us on a token swap our great ways to do so! CosmWasm on Regen

We propose the Regen chain should be upgraded to support permissioned CosmWasm. CosmWasm smart conracts would allow the functionality of the Regen chain to be more easily extended, as well as allowing for Regen to leverage a huge library of existing applications and contracts.

$DAO value creation and capture

A breif overview of how DAO DAO creates value, as well as how it will capture value with the $DAO token. Creating value for projects on Juno Many projects on Juno have already used our tooling to build their communities and protocols! As such, DAO DAO is directly responsibile for many of the airdrops we all love so dearly. It has also been a big attractor to protocols like Wynd DAO (note the "Powered by DAO DAO") logo at the bottom, allowing them to focus on building awesome Interchain DeFi products. Our tooling will help create many new types of DAOs, that in turn will bring value to Juno. Types of DAOs that will be enabled and more:
