### Summary - Wallet UI
In Todays Session we covered Voting on Cardano and Polkadot.
On Cardano we looked at the Catalyst Funding.
On Polkadot we looked at the OpenGov Funding.
Felix talked about Catalyst. Treasury Mechanisms, Plattform itself, Explaining Voting Process, Highlight Reports and Overviews.
Viki talked about Open Gov on diffrent Ui. PolkadotJS UI, Subsquare, Polkaassembly. OpenGov Dive in Liquid Democrazcy, Diffrent Tracks, Diffrents Params of Diffrent Tracks, History of Voting, We did Voting.

### Cardano - Catalyst UI
#### General
- 2020 Catalyst Funding started
- In Cardano we have funding cycles.
- We are using the Catalyst website. We click Fund11. Thats the current funding round.
- First Overview, 7k proposal, 1k proposal, 800 completed.
- 3 periods
- Fund 0, 1 were just bootstrapping
- We submiteed as Unifires on Fund 11
- There is a timeline, There is a search engines, easy to fine thingy
- Everything is milestone based
- We have a process in place that we can check
- There is no positive
- No cost of proposals
- Q&A
- Who are the judges
- There are reviewer, they do small thingies, get credits, then are able to become judge
- No way to see judges directly, usually the community has good glimbse
- Catalyst call
- Can we see the on chain history on the votes? No, first close and drive to more pulbic, polka everything open drive to more pirvate
- Is the Ada locked? No its not. Voting is incentivesed

I'm Frank. I have 3000 Ada. I wanna vote.
1. IOG annouce snappshot

3. I get a QR & Pin
4. I need 500 Ada and have to be staked
5. Catalyst voting period starts

7. I vote with my Voting Power.

### Polkadot
#### Quick Recap
- All voters can alaways vote.
- Each referendea has tracks.
- There is root track. It always the Polkadot Runtime. Thats a heavy Track
- There is the event track. Thats a not a heavy Tracky.
- We have 15 Tracks. Root Track, MedSpender Track, Smallspender Track, ...
- There are 3 Periods.
- Lead In Period - Votes are open
- Decision Period - Votes are counted
- Enactment Period - Votes are closed

#### Polkadot JS UI
- Its the soul of the eccosystem
- There is a governance Tab.
- We have currently 66 Refernda
- Parachain can have a governance as well. Available thruh the polkadot JS UI.
- There is a network tab. It shows all chain that are currently connected to Polkadot. f.e. parahcain 2004 is moonbeam.
- There will be a governance Chain. It makes the relay chain slimmer. Follow linux prinicple. Do one thing, do it great.
- Back to Governance.
- We are focusing on Open Gov.
- There is polkassembly.
- There is delegation.
- There are voting mechanism. Its diffrent.
- Every Proposal is full on chain. Sometimes the write do not vote, because of failure and immutablity.
- Now voting.
- We are using polkaassembly.
- We look for a proposal
- We can vote for with Aye, Nay, split and abstan
- We can lock the dot for X, Y or Z time which increases our voting power
- Click send, and done.
- Every token Holder has a right to vote.
- Q&A Is the Dot locked till X Time? Yes its locked
- Q&A Are there cost for voting? Yes there are transaction fee.
- Split allows you to say 6 Dots yeay, 4 dots and nay
- Its possible to see voting history.
- There is subscan. Thats the main blockchain explorer. There is a tab valled Vote.
- We can delegate our Votes.
- We call it liquid democrazy. Any person can vote on any time with any dot with any ... Its liquid, quite flexible.
- We can retieve our Votes.
- Vik votes on runtime upgrade, treasury proposal. He votes with the Hungary Polkadot Community.
- We can vote with Proxies.
- We looked at the python api propsoal
- We looked at the subwallet proposal.
- We discussed how open a proposal, especially to google docs is.

- How does the curve works of voting? In the beginning it should be hard to approval the proposal.
