# 2022 DDW UTA ## Lesson Materials [**Course Website**](https://data-driven-world.github.io): contains notes, mini project handouts, and useful information about the syllabus. [**Course Handout**](https://docs.google.com/document/d/1f2T-8MNrC5eEWIUVetPNr5CR_XxCeogPZzV2sDcsvc0/edit?usp=sharing): contains **course administration** and **calendar**. See the course **calendar section** in the course handout to see what's the topic on Lec1 (1.5h) or Lec2 (1.5h) or Proj (2h) slot of the week, then **match** it to the notes/problem-set in the course website. Typically, **lesson materials** are taught during Lec sessions (1.5), and Mini Projects are conducted during the 2h lesson. **Mini Projects**: 1. Week 1-3: [MP SORT](https://github.com/Data-Driven-World/d2w_mini_projects/tree/master/mp_sort) 2. Week 4-6: [MP CALC](https://github.com/Data-Driven-World/d2w_mini_projects/tree/master/mp_calc) 3. [MP_TICTATOE](https://github.com/Data-Driven-World/d2w_mini_projects/tree/master/mp_tictactoe) is **optional** ## Expected Duty You are mostly expected to be in the class and offer assistance. Common questions include: 1. Basic Python: how loops work, branching (if-elses), variable declarations, etc. 2. How to install Python packages (set up environment variable, etc, just google on the spot it's fine) 3. Be friendly, make friends  4. Conduct **checkoffs** for mini projects in class: just ask the student to demonstrate the end product and tick their name in [**this**](https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1K4JyDPZ-yfL8-Fz-BZpjZm1AV-w9zbMFLVHqEKnoFKE/edit?usp=sharing) sheet. You're **not** required to grade anything. Should you not be able to make it for your own slot, send a Teams text to your Instructor. ## Roster Week 1-6 | Cohort | Location | Lec 1 Time | Lec 1 TA | Lec 2 Time | Lec 2 TA | Proj Time | Proj TA | Instructors | -------- | --------|-------- | -------- | -------- | -------- | -------- | -------- | --------| | SC01|2.308|Mon 1030-1200|Hazel|Wed 0900-1030|Hazel|Thur 0900-1100|Yu Xiang| Oka & Cyrille | SC02|2.406|Mon 1600-1730|Alex|Tue 1600-1730|Alex|Thur 1330-1530|Alex| Kenny Lu & Kenny Choo | SC03|2.506|Mon 1430-1600|Alex|Tue 1300-1430|Alex|Thur 1530-1730|Alex| Fredy & Kenny Choo | SC04|2.507|Tue 1230-1400|Daniel|Thur 1200-1330|Daniel|Fri 0900-1100|Daniel|Norman & Si Yong | SC05|2.606|Tue 1000-1130|Shane|Wed 0830-1000|Shane|Thur 0900-1100|Shane| Kenny Lu & Si Yong | SC06|2.607|Mon 0900-1030|Shane|Thur 1630-1800|**NIL**|Fri 1100-1300|Yu Xiang| Norman & Si Yong | SC07|1.310|Mon 1030-1200|Issac|Tue 1400-1530|Issac|Wed 1100-1300|Issac| Kenny Lu & Si Yong | SC08|1.410|Tue 1000-1130|Hazel|Thur 1400-1530|Hazel|Fri 0830-1030|Yu Xiang| Fredy & Cyrille ## Roster Week 8-12 | Cohort |Location| Lec 1 Time | Lec 1 TA | Lec 2 Time | Lec 2 TA | Proj Time | Proj TA | Instructors | -------- | -------- |-------- | -------- | -------- | -------- | -------- | -------- | -------- | | SC01|2.308|Mon 1030-1200|Hazel|Wed 0900-1030|Hazel|Thur 0900-1100|Yu Xiang| Oka & Peng Song | SC02|2.406|Mon 1600-1730|Alex|Tue 1600-1730|**NIL**|Thur 1330-1530|Hazel| Peng Song & Kenny Choo | SC03|2.506|Mon 1430-1600|Alex|Tue 1300-1430|**NIL**|Thur 1530-1730|Hazel| Fredy & Kenny Choo | SC04|2.507|Tue 1230-1400|Daniel|Thur 1200-1330|Daniel|Fri 0900-1100|Daniel| Cyrille & Peng Song | SC05|2.606|Tue 1000-1130|Shane|Wed 0830-1000|Shane|Thur 0900-1100|Shane| Angela Wang Bo & Kenny Lu | SC06|2.607|Mon 0900-1030|Shane|Thur 1630-1800|Alex|Fri 1100-1300|Alex| Natalie & Peng Song | SC07|1.310|Mon 1030-1200|**NIL**|Tue 1400-1530|Daniel|Wed 1100-1300|Daniel| Kenny Lu & Angela Wang Bo | SC08|1.410|Tue 1000-1130|Hazel|Thur 1400-1530|Alex|Fri 0830-1030|Alex| Natalie & Fredy ## Examination You might be needed to assist during examination, but it's not critical.
