Resource Request - Communications Subgroup

Summary

The Communications Subgroup is requesting DAO Funding to be used for the creation of a weekly digest. This digest will be posted on the governance forum. It's purpose is to provide news to the DAO on a regular basis in a predictable format.

The total funding requested is: 3150 $USDC

Description of Line Items

1. Contributor Compensation

The Newsletter will require 1-2 contributors on a weekly basis for the remaining 17 weeks of the current working group term. We are requesting for each newsletter produced, a payment of 100 $USDC to be split among the active contributors involved as determined by the Lead Contributor. The estimate provides for the required skills, knowledge and time necessary to produce a formal newsletter for the ENS DAO. This estimate only covers the digest. In the event that the scope of this subgroup expands, we may request additional funding.

Calculation used: 21 weeks x $100 = 2100 USDC

Estimated Total: 2100 $USDC
Disbursement: 100 $USDC per digest produced.

2. Lead Contributor Compensation

The weekly digest will require a Lead Contributor to provide coordination of contributors, serve as the editor, and plan future communications-related projects. The lead contributor assumes overall responsibility for the subgroup which requires time and skills that should be compensated for.

Calculation used:21 weeks x $50 USDC = 1050 $USDC.

Estimated Total: 1050 $USDC
Disbursement: 210 $USDC per month for five months.
