# AAVE Grants DAO [Pending Approval] to Adopt CharmVerse to Power Grants

### Abstract

We propose AAVE Grants DAO consider migrating their Grants program to CharmVerse. CharmVerse wishes to equip Grantors and Grantees with a robust set of tools to simplify, streamline, and increase transparency for participants in the grants process.

### Motivation
It is important AAVE Grants continue to incentivize builders to build on top of and support AAVE. The Grants program is a great way to attract high-quality builders and grow the ecosystem. This proposal is geared to AAVE Grants DAO, or stakeholders who want to see AAVE continue to thrive e.g. token holders, builders, and community members.

This proposal considers the specific pain points or areas where previous grantess have singalled opportunity for growth and improvement.

##### What could be better?

> **Clarity and Transparency:** On the grants process, and the criteria for which grants receive funding and which do not.

> **Pre-Application Communication:** Today, the ways in which applicants learn about grants and have their questions answered are fragmented across multiple platforms.

> **Ongoing Community Support:** AGD can better highlight past grants tools, content, and projects to the community so they can be leveraged more broadly.

- **Customization** Launch AAVE Grants with custom branding, member directory, or any of the core features offered by CharmVerse (see below)

### Specifications

We propose AAVE Grants DAO augment the prevailing grants program by integrating CharmVerse for processing grant applications from members of the AAVE community.

AAVE Grants will be able to continue disbursal of grant funds via AAVE Grants DAO "Grant [Multi-sig"]() or utilize wallet to wallet payments directly on CharmVerse.
