Topics
Josephine Zerna presents the OSIP introduction video, which will be uploaded to the GRN and OSIP websites. It is a reference to a clip from "The Office" and can be watched here once it is uploaded. It will also be featured on the new OSIP website.
In the winter semester, Josephine and Christoph would once again offer the weekly consultation hours. The OSIP website should more clearly elaborate on what the consultation hours are for, such as sample questions that can be asked. Also, there should be an option to sign up for consultation hours (voluntarily via a form). Also, a blog post should be written for the SLUB Open Science Blog. The consultation hours will be advertised in Expra and other classes in the winter semester and announced in the Faculty Council under 'miscellaneous'.
We collect suggestions for topics for future presentations in our OSIP-Cloudstore.
Vice-Rector Research Rösen-Wolff, Josephine Zerna and Vincent Zipper will participate in the panel discussion about the future of open science and research in general. We are still looking for a person from the group of professors and will contact fitting candidates. René will be hosting the discussion, questions will be prepared and prediscussed in one of the next OSIP meetings.
Judith Herbers, Anja Kräplin and Gundula Thiele are part of the selection committee. Because Judith and Gundula both work at the chair of psychological methods, Anja asks Jens Helmert if he would like to be part of it, too.
Awards can be given for teaching activities and publications. The awards will be presented at the end of 2023, beginning of 2024.
Gundula Thiele and Vincent Zipper are planning the relaunch of the OSIP website. It will again be hosted on TUD servers but in its own webspace to allow for more flexibility in design. Suggestions for content are very welcome.
The next OSIP meeting is sheduled for September 20 at 1:30 pm. The hybrid meeting will take place in BZW A307 and via Zoom. The link to will be sent out via the mailing list about one week before the meeting. All OSIPs are welcome to propose topics.
