## OSIP Introduction Video
Josephine Zerna presents the OSIP introduction video, which will be uploaded to the GRN and OSIP websites. It is a reference to a clip from "The Office" and can be watched [here](https://reproducibilitynetwork.de/members/) once it is uploaded. It will also be featured on the new OSIP website.
---
## Promoting the Open Science Consultation Hour
>
In the winter semester, Josephine and Christoph would once again offer the weekly consultation hours. The OSIP website should more clearly elaborate on what the consultation hours are for, such as sample questions that can be asked. Also, there should be an option to sign up for consultation hours (voluntarily via a form). Also, a blog post should be written for the SLUB Open Science Blog. The consultation hours will be advertised in Expra and other classes in the winter semester and announced in the Faculty Council under 'miscellaneous'.
---
## Future Talks and Exchanges
We collect suggestions for topics for future presentations in our OSIP-Cloudstore.
---
## OSIP Birthday
Vice-Rector Research Rösen-Wolff, Josephine Zerna and Vincent Zipper will participate in the panel discussion about the future of open science and research in general. We are still looking for a person from the group of professors and will contact fitting candidates. René will be hosting the discussion, questions will be prepared and prediscussed in one of the next OSIP meetings.
---
## OSIP Open Science Award
Judith Herbers, Anja Kräplin and Gundula Thiele are part of the selection committee. Because Judith and Gundula both work at the chair of psychological methods, Anja asks Jens Helmert if he would like to be part of it, too.
Awards can be given for teaching activities and publications. The awards will be presented at the end of 2023, beginning of 2024.
---
## OSIP Website
Gundula Thiele and Vincent Zipper are planning the relaunch of the OSIP website. It will again be hosted on TUD servers but in its own webspace to allow for more flexibility in design. Suggestions for content are very welcome.

## Miscellaneous
- Anne Gärtner reports that 21 comments were submitted in response to the [call](https://open.lnu.se/index.php/metapsychology/announcement/view/5) regarding responsible research ssessment.
- Kay-Michael Würzner reports: TUD will not join [CoARA](https://coara.eu/). The German Rectors' Conference (HRK) has been very critical, among other things, about the bureaucratic superstructure and the large number of committees. In addition, the DFG is already represented in CoARA, which is said to be sufficient. In the context of a (yet to be developed) TUD-wide Open Science Policy, however, the [Declaration on Research Assessment (DORA)](https://sfdora.org/) could be signed. Anne Gärtner offers to give an overview of CoARA and DORA in the October meeting.

The next OSIP meeting is sheduled for September 20 at 1:30 pm. The hybrid meeting will take place in BZW A307 and via Zoom. The link to will be sent out via the mailing list about one week before the meeting. All OSIPs are welcome to propose topics.
