VSC master doc

VSC Master Doc Overview VSC is a next generation smart contract platform built on top of high. Leveraging IPFS as a L2 for smart contract state and transactions. The overall goal of the project is to provide the HIVE community with an incredibly flexible smart contract engine not unlike hive-engine, while being hyper scalable and nearly free. The long term goal goes well beyond just NFTs, community tokens, etc, but to allow many new use cases that were previously not possible. VSC nodes will be lightweight, and easy to operate while providing a rich interface into the smart contract land. Aside from having a list of prebuilt standardized contracts, anyone can easily write their own smart contract and deploy it to the network (paying the fees associated of course) It will employ a combination of highly scalable data structures such as DAGs, merkle trees, and CRDTs to create a highly scalable fabric that smart contracts can utilize. VSC has two main consensus elements: Main validator set - runs the main anchor chain hooked directly into the HIVE blockchain Executor set - responsible for the proper execution and maintainership of smart contracts. In other words this means there is an individual node runner pool per smart contract or group of smart contracts. Meaning as the number of nodes grow in the network so does the total TPS and number of smart contracts that can be supported.
