### First presentation: Preparing for your first workshop by Dr. Murray Cadzow
- get to know and consider the practicalities of your workshop (room, online, laptop etc)
- meet your team (where is everyone? what level?)
- fallbacks: consider all things that can happen (zoom fails, alternative communication) -> carpentries workbook! ->> role & responsibility distributions
- preparing: create a teaching account, pre-workshop survey, run through installation instructions, run the code, transition points (passing to the next instructor), identify crunch points and parts that can be dropped as commonly running over time, email link before the workshop
- after the workshop: debrief
