## Overview

## Inventory

AV setup contains 8 kits total:

1) Camera kit
2) Audio kit
3) Microphone and presenter kit
4) Tripod kit
5) Cable and misc kit (2 bags)
6) ATEM kit
7) Feelword monitor kit
8) Audio monitor kit

All in a big black bag. Tripod separate bag.

### Camera kit

Items:
- EOS R50 Camera
- Lens
- SD card (128GB high speed)
- Battery
- Fake battery (to power)
- Fake battery with USB C (if using power adapter)

Missing:
- Micro HDMI to HDMI for ATEM

Note:
- Charge battery before and after
- Make sure it is attached securely onto tripod
- Make sure angle is correct (focus, whole)
- Record video onto SD card
- Ensure charger reaches extension cable
- Be careful with sensor lens
- Oskar uses this as webcam normally so try to return early
- If using ATEM, connect micro HDMI to HDMI
- Micro HDMI to HDMI for ATEM is separate

### Audio kit

Items:
- Rode Wireless Go Transmitter x2
- Rode Wireless Go Receiver
- Lavalier mic x1
- Muffs x4
- 3.5mm short cable x1
- Plastic thingamajigs (one bag)


Missing:
- USB-C to HDMI (?) for ATEM connection

Note:
- Charge all batteries before and after (USB-C)
- Make sure it is recording (we missed this last time)
- Do sound check of both and with desired configuration (lavalier mic, reporter, etc)
- Turn off when not in use
- Plug receiver into ATEM (if using it)

### Microphone and presenter kit

Items:
- Rode report mics x2 (with muffs)
- Presenter clicker with basic battery
- USB-C to HDMI adapter
- Lightning to HDMI adapter


Note:
- Turn Rode Wireless on and attach to mic
- Do another sound check
- This is for recording, not for voice amplification
- Sound volume differs a lot depending on distance and mic (lavalier, reporter, bare)
- Test that clicker works on presenter computer (most work by default)

### Tripod kit

Items:
- Big tripod
- Small tripod for Feelworld monitor
- Mount table for EOS camera
- Mount table for mobile


Note:
- Put camera on securely
- Make sure to secure legs
- None of these work for iPhone (different mount, have to change)
- Can use duct tape or similar to attach battery pack to this

### Cable and misc kit (2 bags)

Items in big blue bag:
- Long HDMI cables x2
- Shorter HDMI cables x2
- Micro HDMI to HDMI for EOS camera to connect ATEM
- Extension cord
- Power adapter (12V/3.3A) + cable
- Power adapter (9V/1.2A)


Items in small bag:
- HDMI to USB C cable
- USB C to USB C cable
- USB to micro USB cable
- USB to mini USB cable (for HDMI splitter)
- HDMI splitter (~not really working)
- USB C to HDMI adapter
- Canon Battery charger + cable
- Battery pack x2


Missing:
- HDMI connector (maybe not needed depending on distance)
- HDMI splitter that is reliable
- Probably more cables

Note:
- Split into two packs
- Not everything necessarily useful
- Trial and error and see which most useful
- HDMI splitter worked at home but not for presenter with different resolution
- Related to EDID screen resolution translation
- Requires battery pack

### ATEM kit

Items:
- ATEM Mini Pro
- Power source cable (need outlet)
- HDMI cable short x1
- USB C to USB C cable


Missing:
- More cables (see cable kit)

Note:
- Learn how to use basic features on YT e.g., two screens
- Useful for monitoring audio and video inputs live
- Connects via HDMI for all video inputs (camera, presenter laptop)
- Connects via microphone jack to Rode Receiver
- Connects via USB-C for output to get into OBS
- Connects via HDMI out to Feelworld monitor

#### ATEM kit software interface
1. This is a software mixer on your laptop. Both video and audio source have to go into this mixer.
2. The mixer name you'll possibly see in your laptop is blackmagic

1. You need to turn on the track you want to record and turn off the source you don't want.
2. The Master Track is a final aggregated output. You have to turn on as well.
3. Paul: I suggest to tune the Master output first, instead of tuning each individual output first. Unless there's a big gap for each tracks.

### Feelworld monitor kit

Items:
- Feelworld monitor
- HDMI cable to plug in to ATEM
- AC adapter DC 12V/2A x1
- It's in the small cable kit right now due to the size


Note:
- Use small tripod
- Used to monitor outputs from ATEM

### Audio monitor kit

Items:
- Open ear mic hadphones
- Small audio cable (untested)


Notes:
- Useful for monitoring audio live with ATEM
- Open ear to hear easier, but other options work too
- Beware if you use OBS audio filters that final output might be different
