- I am curious of outcomes of meetings with:
- Director of Science and Training at INCF about synergies and collaborations and Meeting with Swedish coordinator for CitCom.ai
- i spoke with Mathew Abrams at INCF. He told me about what they do and i told him about ENCCS. He found it interesting to hear about us and the services we provide, and we agreed to be in touch later. So mostly just an information exchange meeting. Would you be interested in some collaboration with them? at least i think we should pursue to integrate ENCCS training in their training platform, https://training.incf.org/
- Of course, International Neuroinformatics Coordinating Facility (INCF) is basis for Human Brain Project, EBRAINS, TEF Health. About trainigs – yes!
*Standards and Best Practices (SBPs). The mission of the INCF, is to serve as a standard organization promoting neuroscience community developed standards and best practices that are open and FAIR. INCF encourages the development of the community standards through special interest groups (SIGs) and working groups, supported by online as well as in-person courses and workshops.*
- in case i hadn't mentioned it before, we ran a CodeRefinery workshop to INCF some time in 2017-2018. They were very interested in that material and wanted to add it to their training platform, but i don't think that happened

- AI TEF SCC (AI Testing and Experimental Facilities for Smart and Sustainable Cities and Communities)
- this is citcom.ai right? I spoke to Petra Dalunde. She's in Kista. she wanted to know more about ENCCS and how we work with SMEs. Their TEF is involved in HPC, but those WP are in Denmark (?) and not in Sweden. I helper her get in touch with one particular company (Nilar)
- A bit more about TEF HPC in Denmark? Mb we can do smth similar or collaborate with them. I know that Anders Gavlerfrom Kista is also responsible for TEF Smart Cities.
- don't know anything about the TEF in Denmark. My suggestion is that you talk yourself to Petra Dalunde! You can be in charge of figuring out how we can work with TEFs (but then let's discuss what you come up with)

- summary of these meetings: they've been mostly information exchange and no concrete collaborations have been initiated
- Because Swedes need to be a bit pushed.
- that might be true, but we are a small team and have limited capacity to follow up on a lot of different fronts. Often these information-sharing meetings are valuable on their own, one gets to know about the other project and keeps that in mind in the future. Such interactions often lead to someone getting in touch later when a specific idea/need emerges

- T23.7 Interactive national competence map on ENCCS portal. What does this task include?
- details not worked out, something we haven't had time for so far. But would be cool to list all stakeholders, all relevant organisations and centres, and creating a map were people can click to get more information on each

- jag ser det mest som att vi bör följa utvecklingen, vara väl informerade om vad som händer och vilket intresse det finns för QC (via årlig tjänsteenkät), och ge training. Jag känner inte till några företag som är intresserade av att verkligen börja köra på QC. Vi bör också koppla det här till QC aktiviteten på RISE, vi får hoppas att Erik snart har tid att prata med oss
- Om du känner inte då det betyder bara att du var inte intresserad tillräckligt mycket av detta ämne. Jag skulle vilja ha ENCCS Q blog på RISE Yammer plus samma info på ENCCS sida. Om vi väntar på Erik K då vi missar Q utvecklingen alls. Men vi kan vänta. Utvecklingen följs, finns massa nyheter – allt finns hos mina resurser. - when you mention establishing collaborations with different entities, what do you have in mind?
- Everything related to the plan. If you remember, during the Airbus meeting, Björn indicated that RISE has all possible ways/means for collaborations = flexibility.
- but when we're thinking about a specific organisation/person/initiative/company, it must be clear exactly what we can provide

- if we ran a PoC project on AI with an SME, how would you be interested and able to contribute? in other words, would you be able to take their problem and develop a solution based on deep learning or similar?
- Yes. Alternatively, connect those experts who have relevant experience.

- When I receive a task or contribute to a task, how many of final decision-making can I have in case there are no time for argumentation?
- i don't think i can give general guidelines, it'll have to depend on the circumstances and nature of the task. You'll have significant autonomy but some decisions should be brought to me first. I hope this will get clearer with time

- Could you please elaborate? From the objectives for Work Package 23: NCC Sweden: T23.1 • Explore the sustainability potentials by testing different possibilities in collaboration with the advisory board. • Explore the potential of being a legal entity and analyse the pros and cons of that.
- sustainability here means a way for ENCCS to exist long-term possibly without EU funding. I should discuss this with the AB, i will set up an online meeting with them in June. But my idea on sustainability is clear: our long-term future should be within RISE. We establish an "HPC at RISE", similar to "AI at RISE" and the Cybersecurity center. We commercialise the training portfolio, offer HPC consultancy, bring in money by R&D funding from Vinnova and other funders, and joining consortia (this is already happening)

- Can my spouse officially with funding from RISE/ENCCS join me for working trips? Priority for answer: low. I am asking just because I am curious and I have experience that in other than science domains it always counts that one can not travel without a spouse. For me, it is not a problem, I am just wondering.
- nope, not possible
- If it is your decision it is okay, but are you sure it is clearly stated in EuroCC/RISE guidelines?
- this is simply never done. We're working in a poorly funded environment with taxpayer money! A private company can decide to fund spouses but it's unethical to do it with the funding sources we have
