    ## 通識課程 自從民國70年本校前校長虞兆中教授提出「通才教育」作為辦學理念以來,本校對推動通識教育不遺餘力,其理念與定義乃秉持:「建立人的主體性,以完成人之自我解放,並與人所生存之人文及自然環境建立互為主體性之關係的教育。」在此理念下,本校通識教育強調不同學術領域之間對話、溝通與融合的可能性,除了避免傳統與現代之間的斷裂,以及全球化與本土化之間的斷裂之外,拓深學生的文化資源,拓展全球視野,並奠定終身學習的基礎能力。 ==故在通識教育規劃上,將通識課程分為八大領域:文學與藝術、歷史思維、世界文明、道德與哲學思考、公民意識與社會分析、量化分析與數學素養、物質科學、生命科學。== ## 新生專題 自97學年度開始推動。旨在使新鮮人邁入新的學涯之際,能在導師 (mentor) 的引導下,融入與以前截然不同的學習殿堂,體驗本校的校園文化,為未來的學習之路開啟一道門。課程主題不限,由授課教師自行規劃各種議題做為專題討論的主題,修課無須具備任何背景知識或專業,亦無須修習任何先修課程。為讓師生在新生專題有頻繁的互動,讓新專的老師能成為學生在原屬學系導師外的良師益友,故採小班教學,每班以25人為原則。 新生專題的授課地點非限於教室,凡校園內的各種合適空間,例如男女生宿舍等 (即便安排在男舍或女舍,男、女生均可選修) 均可能作為授課地點,以期營造一個輕鬆、舒適、溫暖的學習氛圍,並打造一個讓新生有歸屬感的學習團體。 ==學期成績以通過 (pass)/不通過 (no pass) 表示之,由授課教師自行根據課堂參與、書面或口頭報告等設定評分標準。通過者取得2學分。== ==為讓本課程能盡可能開放給更多新生修習,故本課程限本校大一新生選修。每位新生一學期僅能修習一個班次,第二學期開設班次以未曾修過本課程的新生為優先。== ## 新生講座 新生講座的特色是大班授課。目前本校計有能力養成、生涯探索,以及生命教育等3班的新生講座。 每班的授課方式為針對主題而規劃系列講座,由本校教師組成授課團隊。除自我探索、哲學思考等議題外,還包括公民社會基本能力培養,期許學生能在大學階段培養公民社會基本能力,或規劃適性且具前瞻性的學習藍圖,進而確認人生的目標、方向,以及活用大學所學至職場等。 ==因採大班授課,故凡有興趣之大學部學生均可修習,非限大一新生。學期成績以通過 (pass)/不通過 (no pass) 表示之,由授課教師自行根據課堂參與、書面或口頭報告等設定評分標準。== ## 資料來源 [臺大通識課程地圖](https://coursemap.aca.ntu.edu.tw/course_map/ge.php) [共同教育中心:新生專題/新生講座](https://cge.ntu.edu.tw/cp_n_56969.html)
