# TikiPicker User Guide

## TikiPicker Installation

The following are the requirements and installation instructions for end users, if you are an admin looking to install the TikiPicker Outlook Add-in for your company, please contact us at [[e-mail]][1]. TikiPicker for iOS is a companion App provided to our users to expand the possibilities of our software while on the move.

### Setting up a company account
First you need to setup a TikiPicker subscription. You can do this by sending an email to [[e-mail]][1].
To complete your subscription you will need:
1. The data sets you would like to upload
2. The list of users in your organisation you would like to grant access to. You can customize the permissions that each user has to access each data set.

Once the subscription is set up, your data sets will be uploaded to the database. Each user will receive an email from us with a link to activate the account. The fist time a new user logs in he will be asked to input the date of birth and to choose a password.
At this point your company is on boad and each user can log in and access the data sets.

### Add-In Installation on iOS

If you reached this support guide, you already installed TikiPicker for iOS. If you were redirected here from another source, you can simply download our companion App accessing the official Apple Store on any of your devices.

### TikiPicker Quick-Start

**It is TikiEasy!**
1. Starting from your messaging app of choice, you realize you need more information to answer to your favorite customer
2. It is time to open the TikiPicker up on your device!
3. On your first access, you will need to log in pressing the user icon in the top right corner. Use the email - password combination that you created after accepting your online invitation or that was provided to you by your company
4. You are now logged in. You have access to your data on the move
6. Search your items and select the one you need from the results. You can choose your specific data sets if your search offers multiple results
6. Choose the information you would like to select with a simple tap on them
7. You are ready to go. Press the copy button at the bottom of the screen to copy the information you selected to clipboard. You are now ready to paste them in the original message
8. Don't forget to take advantage of your device's advanced features like fast switching from one app to the other

**Note**: Tikipicker copy/paste function behavior is defined by your company.

**Other details & Additional cool features**
1. When you search for an item the lookup is performed matching the typed text with the **first two columns** of your data sets
2. Access your setting page on the top right corner to switch from one data base to another (if available)
3. Filter out specific data sets in the same setting page with a simple tap

## General Account Details
Depending on the settings of your work IT infrastructure, your account may be tied to your work account, so it might happen that only your company IT administrator can reset it for you.
Please, be aware that the password can be different form the one you use to access your work email.
## Supported Devices
Any iOS device running iOS 13.5 release or newer can run TikiPicker

## TikiPicker Detailed Add-In Usage
### Glossary
**Data set**: complete list of items
**Item**: an individual article or unit composed by cells
**Detail**: Named atomic element that composes an item
**Apple Store**: Market Hosted by Apple which holds approved Apps
**Search Bar**: Graphic component present in the main view where text can be specified to look for one or more items
**Main View**: Page that is shown when the add-in is loaded

### Login
1. Click on the to log-in. A new window is going to be opened
2. Insert your username and password in the login form. Select yes if you would like to avoid logging in every use. You are in!

### Search for an Item
1. Log into TikiPicker by following the steps in [login](#Login)
2. Tap on the Search Bar
3. Type part or the entire name of the item you want to look for
4. If just one listing matches the research, then you will see the name of such a listing compare below the search-bar and all the results below, otherwise the name of the multiple listings that match the research will be shown below the search bar
5. If multiple listings match your research. Tap on the button with the name of the listing that you want to see

### See Additional Details of an Item
1. Log into TikiPicker by following the steps in [login](#Login)
2. Search for an Item like in the steps described in [search for an item](#Search-for-an-Item)
3. Tap on an item name to view all the details associated to an item

### Add specific Additional Details of an Item to a message
1. Repeat the steps present in [See Additional Details of an Item](#See-Additional-Details-of-an-Item)
2. Tap on the lines including the information you would like to add
3. Tap the blue button to copy to clipboard the selected info
4. You are now ready to paste them in any messaging/email app you want
