highway=cycleway Totally separated from the carriageway and protected by traffic islands, grass verges, etc. Same as DPWH's Class Ⅰ bikeways.
cycleway=track
oneway:bicyle=no		 A portion of the roadway, separated by concrete kerbs or slabs as dividers.
cycleway=lane
cycleway:buffer=yes
cycleway:lane=advisory		 A portion of the roadway, separated by painted markings or flimsy treatments (e.g. flex sticks, plastic bollards.) Same as DPWH Class Ⅱ bikeways.
cycleway=shared_lane Sharrows or pictogram markings on corridor, without lane markings or signages A DPWH Class Ⅲ bikeway.
cycleway=shoulder single line of paint delineates the shoulder. No signage or bike markings present.

or cycleway:separation=flexible_pole		 describes how a bikeway is separated from adjacent road lanes and users

For dual-carriageways with separate geometries, use cycleway:right=lane to indicate a lane on the right side of the direction of the OSM way segment.

DPWH Bikeway Classification & OSM tag equivalency

In PH, type Ⅰ protected paths are rare. Type Ⅱ (on-road, delineated bike lanes) and type Ⅲ (on road, no bike lanes, cycling allowed) are in common use.

Class Ⅲ - Shared Roadway (with sharrows)

OSM convention requires sharrows road markings to indicate that the travel lane is shared by bicycles and other vehicles.

Class Ⅲ - Shared Roadway (unmarked)
