The Invisible Publishing House
In today's world of centralised digital content production and dissemination monopolies ranging from Adobe Suites to Infomaniak data centres, to Amazon Alexas, autonomy and independence requires alternative approaches, collective action, and voluntary open-source struggle.
To establish creative independence and subvert generic means for production, use, and distribution of art and design, we will start an independent digital publishing website. The editorial line, visual language and content will be collectively decided by the participants.
The social and technical means for dissemination and access to the website will aim to challenge dominant digital publishing interfaces for visual communication. As such, discrete voice interactions with the website, mediated via an open-source voice assistant will be favoured.
A visit to CERN data center and Itopie cooperative repair center is scheduled.

**Technique**
- Bootstrap a technique to make an IPFS server that one can access only on Wifi ? only on IPFS protocol?
Notes: Reverse Everything
Centralise with a server
Cloud
Get all this sources of data that are not connected
Then voice came in
Speach is a combination of the 2
Speaking againt the goenvernemt does but face is more tricky
Anatomy of AI--- To Show
What if the internet breaks?
Local server that demands low energy
Information consuming - Consuming energy but also labour force
Resilient future but why using internet?
What is it to consume a website compare to reading a book?
Backups and Decentralization for what?
What are the incentives
Electricity Accesibiity
How could this be used in a scenario where theres no internet?
Template for content and for form
Wifi

- 12h—13h : Lunch
***Afternoon***
- 14h—15h : EXA visit
- 15h30 -17h30 : Discussion (unpacking the day, discussing what 'autonomy' implies) and 5 min presentaion of their practice, Who is hosting you?)
**Day 2**
***Morning***
General Presentation
- 9h30 — 11h : Introduction to Digital Autonomy and discussion|Showing projects (Autonomous Design by Arturo Escobar)
- Understanding autonomy in arts and design (why relevant now and to make it an objective)
- Once you understand what is at stake; what are the means for things to subverted?
- Examples of autonomy and voice interactions (presentation) What are the means to reach autonomy
- Understanding voice interactions in art and design and how to use them strategically/Artistically/ (voice makes technology invisible)
- In a world full of images how does non visual mediums such as voice become relevant
- - Presentation sur exemples de server art/design (Histoire des serveurs et sa relation au esclavage/architecture)
- Faire une selection des articles textes / Images / pour apres laisser aux editeurs de faire la curation des images.
- - Privacy infrastructure made for making voice public In Lithuanian revolution
- Voice activated discussion: what is the relevant information to store, keyword activates the recording.
- Voice as form of publishing, voice publishing is stealth publishing
- Servers as individuals who serve lords or other top people in vertical hierarchies was made trough voice.
- Voice always starts and ends the deal
- Secret exchange of information
- "Feminist checklist" inspired by Cornellia Sollfrank
- Detroit EEI (Equitable Internet Initiative)
- Athens Independent WiFi Initiative
##### Guiding questions?
Awareness Materility & Ressources?
What are we making public? & for whom?
How to interact with it?
When is it on?
- 11h—12h : Off-the-screen exercise : Discover the subject trough Hand Shaking Exercise (Protocolary) or Larping your way on the internet--- objective bond as a team -- and draft as an idea, What if the internet breaks? Food as energy keep the exchange going on, Decentranlized ownership
- To what extent can we call something open? Getting agency of how to open or close networks? Object-based prompt
***Afternoon***
- 13h30—17h Creating working groups (editors, visual designers and coders)
- Making sure they get the importance of the relationship between space and creation.
- Introducing the tech options
- Doing an overview of HTML | CSS
- Thinking about the content and thinking about the form

# NOTES
> I think a combo: voice synthesis — IPFS — local server vs collective remote server — voice based publishing could be nice. Maybe you somehow don't even see the website, you "talk to it"? Or maybe parts of it become visible when somebody connects their node?
Quadratic Voting?
